  1. Everyone gets the same amount from the TV contracts but any monies we get with the Titletown District is just for the Pack. We copied what NE did. They have Patriot Place with restaurants, shops, a Bass Pro Shop, a skating rink, a hotel and now a cinema.
  2. Was Ha Ha that great? He wasn't all that wonderful in Washington either.
  3. Except MM stopped being creative and lost his team (or at least the QB). I like the hire personally. I had him or McDaniels as my top favorite, but McD had me worried for some reason (probably a combo of Denver and Indy issues). I'm also happy to see Pettine retained. I think there is a better chance to bounce back next year with an established D concept. I have a feeling MM lost more than his QB last season. I too like the hire. Something had to be done.
  4. Darn!! I forgot all about that game so I didn't watch and they get a big win like that?
  5. https://www.brewcrewball.com/2018/12/15/18142223/how-the-milwaukee-brewers-are-spending-like-a-large-market-team
  6. Dozier was pretty much just as bad for the Dodgers as Schoop was for the Brewers. But he has a better track record for consistency, too. He's known as a great leader and clubhouse guy. As a bridge 2B, you could do much, much worse. I'm hoping for a two-year deal for LeMahieu, but I could see them make a play for one year of Dozier. Didn't we all talk about getting Dozier last season before the trade deadline or am I thinking of someone else...?
  7. The ballot was designed in Broward County.
  8. Without knowing what was offered by the Reds and Brewers its hard to say.
  9. This is probably what happened. Has there been any news of the size of the contract yet?
  10. Perhaps with a new hitting coach we can get Schoop to produce at 2nd and put Shaw back at 3rd. Jonathan can only get better....?
  11. Yes, thanks Moose. I'd rather put Shaw back at 3rd.
  12. I really agree with your second paragraph. We do need better starting pitching. Do we have them already on the roster? That's the big question I suppose.
  13. That was so strange to see her wearing the Dodgers cap, but cheering for the Red Sox... I doubt she has a clue what to cheer for, or who to cheer for, or when to do the cheering. Maybe her husband is a Dodgers fan.
  14. And that is totally their option as the manager and GM. If they didn't like him, I'm sure there's a reason. Was he a useful player? Maybe. But he wasn't going to be one as a Milwaukee Brewer. I liked Villar a lot, but I am more than willing to give Counsell and Stearns the benefit of the doubt on this one. Villar wasn't much better at the plate for us than Schoop was so I can understand why he was traded away. Unfortunately for us we didn't really upgrade that roster spot.
  15. I don't know if Schoop was trash. He was productive with the Orioles. For some reason he stunk once he put on a Brewers uniform. With 20/20 hindsight we probably needed pitching more than another infielder.
  16. I don't. I'd rather it be us WINNING it instead and I didn't think anybody was gonna beat that bunch this year. I'd rather not make it than lose it like LA did.
  17. I thought the same thing. I hope he goes back to the NL next season. I don't want to face that creep any more than necessary. He's gonna hurt somebody before he's finished.
  18. I wonder. The only way we would have is if our bats would have come around. They went silent against the Dodgers.
  19. Did anyone talk about that after the game (I went to bed instead of watching the post game stuff)?
  20. Yes, of all of the moves by Stearns this past season Schoop was probably the biggest flop of them all.
  21. Bravo Haderaide!!
  22. When do they announce the MVPs?
  23. this
  24. Yelich isn't very fast....?
  25. Yes, he's gonna be good one for the Dodgers for a long time.
