    Its just that with so many Cubs fans there it almost feels like an away game at times...

    It was really something when the Tampa Bay Bucs were in the same division! Packers fans would literally take over the Sombrero there.

    Exactly. Yes, the Cubs have a strong fanbase. But they aren't at Miller Park in droves because of the quality of their fanhood, no matter how much they want to drunkenly yell at you about it. There are lots of Cubs fans at Miller Park because Chicago has 5-6 times the population of Milwaukee, and it's really easy for them to get here. That's it. If there were 10 million people in Milwaukee and 1.5 in Chicago it would be the other way around. It has nothing to do with bad Brewers fans or great Cubs fans. We are just unlucky to be situated so close to millions of blowhards. I have a lot of Red Sox fans as neighbors down here and they are even worse...

    Yes, if one position could take a hit like that and survive for the time being it is the bull pen.

    I wouldn't step foot in MP for a Cubs game either. Its been a while so perhaps we'll go to a game this summer while we're up in WI...

    You might be the lone person who thinks our bullpen is somewhat weak. Most think it is our deepest. But it just sucks to lose Cory for a significant period of time. Will we bring up a pitcher from AAA?

    Hard to blame you. Watching this team get shut out by the Cubs' worst starter (by a wide margin) is pretty disgusting to watch. Come on boys, three more ups to turn this thing around. Cubs worst starter? hmmmm If that were true, and I don't believe it is, how sad is it that he is better than anything the Brewers are trotting out on a nightly basis? Ugh, this rotation is going to kill us and I honestly see no end in sight. I guess we all got all excited about Cain and Yelich but we really didn't address our rotation and the one guy we got is struggling like crazy. The last 2 games our defense has been dreadful. We don't get to play the Padres every day so if things don't get turned around its gonna be another long season. *sigh*

    If I were facing Arcia I would never throw a strike with my first pitch because OA swings at every first pitch no matter where it is. He is a great defensive SS but a crappy hitter.

    Having Cain, Yelich and Shaw around him pitchers will not be able to pitch around him.

    I can’t stand Eddie - just get rid of him I second that motion. I was very disappointed that we kept this clown on the coaching staff.

    Great idea, sit Braun every day, hell, let's just cut him and be done with it. I think we are all happy now that Braun played last night.

    True, but he would have been regarded as one the best ever. Too bad he ruined his reputation by trying to preserve it. The irony in all of this is stunning if you think about it.

    It is going to interesting to see how we stack up against the Cards.

    I find it difficult to hate someone I don't really know outside of what I see on the field and in interviews. What he did had no effect on my life other than what he did to my favorite baseball team. Now, if he committed a real crime like what the ex-Packer Sharper did, now that's an entirely different matter.

    I never got that impression about Braun at all. He was one of my favorites before that steroid stuff. I don't get that impression about Harper either. If Braun was on the Cards or Cubs we'd hate him for being good.

    How is that funny? We did it once already too... Perhaps its because it is against the Marlins?
