Do you have MLB Extra Innings? We had that last year and you get every game but you are stuck with the home announcers.

Because he's overdue to be put on the DL. He is so damn brittle these days. With Cain and Yelich out it really hurts to lose Braun yet again. Hopefully Broxton stays hot...

Yes, Arcia is great defensively but brutal at the plate. Its like having 2 pitchers in the lineup.

It is rather refreshing to see one of our guys actually get the run home with less than 2 outs and a runner on 3rd. I wish we could do that more often.

I haven't seen any news about his wrist anywhere. Has anyone here heard anything? I hope it isn't going to sideline him for a significant amount of time.

Im resigned to believe that Sogard is staying. To be sure, he shouldnt even be getting MLB at bats if he played for the chicago white sox. So either 2 things are possible. 1. he has something over the ownership or Counsell or he is playing because of the same reason why this organization has never won a world series and almost never goes to the playoffs. With Aria's poor bat and Saladino on IR we are kinda stuck with Sogard. I hope once Tyler returns Eric will be sent back down.

This is one of my greatest frustrations with CC. I actually criticize Maddon in the opposite direction for overmanaging his bullpen...CC is awful in the opposite direction. He gets too caught up trying to be overly efficient with his bullpen...and it's especially bad today with an off day tomorrow and a generally rested bullpen. I guarantee the Cubs would have gone to the bullpen sooner and had a better chance of staying in the game. It's obviously to everyone on the field that Chacin doesn't have it today...it's been obvious since the 1st inning. This is my greatest frustration too. Why CC thought Chacin would come around when he was struggling with control all afternoon is mind numbing. What was CC saving his bullpen for? We are off today. We had an opportunity to put more distance between us and the Cubs this past weekend but no. I hope it doesn't come back and bite us in the keister.

The Cubs have put their closer, Morrow, on the 10 day DL with tightness in his back. He hurt it taking his pants off!!

I know a couple of Yankee fans who live near me in FL and they can't stand Maddon. Must be from when he managed the Rays.

Guerra hasn’t been enough ace for ya? Guerra has been great, but his success doesn't eliminate the need we have for Chase to get back to who he was. Either Chase getting back to who he was or Nelson returning to 2017 form would be enormous for our chances this year. Guerra has been great and Chacin has been good, but we need more than those two. If this is the Chase we'll see going forward, Nelson returns to forum, Guerra continues to pitch like he has AND the addition of Chacin we'll have one hell of a rotation in the second half of the season.

Yes, he should be in the minors trying to fix this. You don't do it at this level but with Saladino on the DL and Sogard being even worse we don't have a lot of options here. -
That game was lost IMO when Perez doubled with 0 out and we stranded him, not sure that another hitter even made contact. That can't happen. We needed that run. Our bullpen has been so good that we are quick to point fingers at it when it falters, the offense so consistently bad that we barely notice it anymore. The offense can't continually expect the bullpen to be lockdown every night. This team would probably be under .500 if the bullpen hadn't been lights out. They need to score more runs. They need Thames back, and maybe some external talent. IMO the turning point in the game was the botched double play by Villar when Cain threw the ball in to him but he dropped a sure tag at 2nd. Villar makes that play and more than likely we leave that inning with the lead.

Somebody has to tell him he isn't the only defender out there. He doesn't have to go after every freaking fly ball. In the last 2 games he had no business trying to catch those when it is much easier for Cain.

Well Cain would have to actually be there and calling for it for that to occur. Cain was only a couple of yards away when Arcia tried to catch that.

It was a great play but Arcia shouldn't be going for that ball. It is much easier for the center fielder.

I don’t care for him but I don’t think he’s wrong. Aguilar is not good defensively. Huh? I think he is just fine at 1st. smh
