We have two guys on the roster that haven't faced a batter and another who threw one inning. Zero harm throwing Woody into the Harrison role. Plus he's been effective the last two years throwing 90.

Yeah at this point I’d be surprised if he’s not on the roster

We're now 7 games into this journey. We're 6-1. We haven't used Patrick, Harrison, or Drohan. Assuming we close this out, two thoughts. 1. If Woody is truly healthy and we're not going to use any of these guys, we might as well throw him on the roster. 2. I don't think they'll do it, but we're wasting roster spots in the bullpen right now and it feels like Naylor could be added at the expense of one of these guys so we can use Sanchez more against LHP

Once the Brewers and Tampa get to 3 wins each, I'm pulling the trigger.

For what? I don't think Tampa and Cleveland really care if Woodruff is able to give you 4 IP over a 7 game series.

Flights from Chicago to Tampa are about 330, tickets in the 500s, hotel price a couple hundred a night. Would rather just do that for the same cost and get a few days in the sun.

Might be the most indispensable guy on the team though the way he handles the staff. I expect they'll let him walk but I'd love him to sign.

One of the few guys I'd re-sign, especially with Yeli likely coming off the books after 2028 so they'd only have to eat both salaries for a year.

Same. And I'd let Ashby get Ohtani in the 9th if we have another 1-2-3 inning.

In the playoffs I don't mind them getting another second to decide. Game speed isn't quite as important as getting it right when the stakes are this high. He also did tap his helmet once and the ump missed it.
