Yankees Take Series Opener Against Manatees, 6-4 Tampa Smacks 12 Hits in Victory By Dave Walkovic / Brevard County Manatees 07/07/2015 10:38 PM ET http://www.milb.com/assets/images/4/3/6/123303436/cuts/Brennan_5h1duu5r_8fgkp2l8.JPG Taylor Brennan, seen here from a game earlier this year, collected two hits in Tuesday's loss. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) Tampa, Fla. - The Tampa Yankees (7-5, 41-41) smacked 12 hits en route to a 6-4 victory over the Brevard County Manatees (4-8, 33-48) on Tuesday night at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The Yankees opened the scoring against Brevard County starter Javi Salas in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI groundout by Dante Bichette Jr., but the Manatees were able to answer immediately. Taylor Brennan led off the top of the second with a single to center. Garrett Cooper then laced his first triple of the season down the right field line. Brennan scored and tied the game. Cameron Garfield plated Cooper with an RBI ground out to second. Tampa tied the game in the bottom of the second when Kyle Higashioka singled home Jake Skole. The Yankees broke the tie in the fourth with a pair of runs. With runners on second and third with two outs, Abiatal Avelino reached on a throwing error by Angel Ortega that scored two runs and gave Tampa a 4-2 advantage. The Manatees would fight back to the tie the game, however. With two outs in the fifth, Ortega singled to right field. He then advanced all the way to third on a wild pitch and scored on a throwing error by the catcher Higashioka. Brevard County plated another run in the sixth. Chris McFarland singled and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Two batters later, Clint Coulter drove in McFarland with an RBI single to center. The Yankees took the lead right back in the bottom half of the sixth. After Skole and Higashioka singled to put runners on the corners with no outs, Michael O'Neill grounded into a double play to score Skole. The Yankees led, 5-4. Salas (7-5, 2.95 ERA) was removed after the sixth inning. He surrendered five runs - three earned - on nine hits. He walked two and fanned one. Miguel Andujar hit an RBI single in the seventh and gave the Yankees an insurance run against Stephen Peterson. Peterson allowed just the one run on three hits and struck out three in two innings of relief. Alex Smith recorded a 1-2-3 ninth inning to record his sixth save of the season. Jordan Montgomery (2-3, 3.44 ERA) earned the win. He tossed seven innings and surrendered four runs - three earned - on eight hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out four. The Manatees and Yankees will continue the three-game series tomorrow night. Jorge Ortega (6-5, 2.33 ERA) is scheduled to start for Brevard County. RHP Vicente Campos (0-1, 3.60 ERA) will toe the rubber for Tampa. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Brevard County Box Score Taylor Brennan and Angel Ortega with two hit games. Salas threw 97 pitches in his 6 innings of work, not as efficient as he normally is. Brevard County Game Log

Space Coast has been a Bermuda Triangle for Cameron Garfield. I was surprised he didn't go to Biloxi after he made the FSL All-Star team in each of his previous two years. Even now, the Brewers should probably be promoting a catcher from each level (Weisenburger to AAA, Garfield to AA, Leal to A+ and so on). What's the point of Robinson Diaz and Neven Ashley? Of all the Manatees, I think Garfield has been hurt the most by Space Coast. It really doesn't fit his hitting style.

Threshers Win Rain-Shortened Game, 3-0 Clearwater Takes Series with Seven-Inning Victory By Dave Walkovic / Brevard County Manatees 07/06/2015 9:16 PM ET http://www.milb.com/assets/images/0/2/2/125226022/cuts/IMG_9104_3b20rv95_gibp5ugz.JPG Angel Ortega, pictured above, went 1-for-2 in Monday's loss. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) Viera, Fla. - Victor Arano turned in a masterful performance as the Clearwater Threshers (9-3, 46-36) defeated the Brevard County Manatees (4-7, 33-46) 3-0 in a rain-shortened, seven-inning contest at Space Coast Stadium on Monday night. Arano (3-7, 4.44 ERA) allowed just three hits and tossed seven shutout innings to earn the victory. He walked one and struck out three. He, unofficially, threw 72 pitched and 56 strikes. Clearwater scored three runs in the top of the second inning against Brevard County starter Eric Marzec. With two outs Marzec hit Willians Astudillo with a pitch. Carlos Tocci then singled to right field to put runners on the corners with two outs. Mitchell Walding stepped to the plate and lined a two-run double down the first base line. The next batter, Chase Harris, laced an RBI triple to right field and gave the Threshers a three-run advantage. The lone Brevard County threat came in the bottom of the third. Jose Pena started the inning with a single to left field. Two batters later, Angel Ortega singled through the left side. Chris McFarland struck out, but a passed ball on the third strike advanced Pena and Ortega. Michael Ratterree popped out to second to end the threat. Marzec (1-7, 4.72 ERA) took the loss. He allowed three runs on five hits over seven innings. He walked two and fanned four. He retired seven in a row after the Harris triple. Before the start of the eighth inning, heavy rain forced the tarp to come onto the field. The game was never resumed. Brevard County will head to Tampa on Tuesday to start a three-game series and a seven-game road trip. First pitch at George M. Steinbrenner Field is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Javi Salas (7-4, 2.84 ERA) will start for the Manatees. Tampa will send LHP Jordan Montgomery (5-6, 2.95 ERA) to the hill. Four-Run Fourth Leads Manatees to Victory Brevard County Defeats Clearwater, 5-4 By Dave Walkovic / Brevard County Manatees 07/05/2015 9:48 PM ET http://www.milb.com/assets/images/1/9/8/131575198/cuts/Brennan_3_j2quqccs_x7k3c19f.JPG Taylor Brennan, seen here, hit the go-ahead double in the 7th inning of the Manatees 9-5 win Friday night (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) Viera, Fla.- A four-run offensive explosion in the fourth inning led the Brevard County Manatees (4-6, 33-46 overall) to a 5-4 victory over the Clearwater Threshers (8-3, 45-36) on Sunday night at Space Coast Stadium. With the Threshers leading 2-1 heading into the bottom of the fourth, Taylor Brennan led off the frame with a single to left field. After Brennan stole second, Cameron Garfield singled to right to move Brennan over to third. Rafael Neda then walked to load the bases with no outs. Angel Ortega stepped to the plate and chopped a single through the left side of the infield. Both Brennan and Garfield scored and gave the Manatees a 3-2 lead. With runners on first and second, Omar Garcia dropped down a bunt and reached first without a throw. After the Threshers cut down a run at the plate on a Chris McFarland fielder's choice, the bases were still loaded with one out for Michael Ratterree. Ratterree sharply lined a ball to short that resulted in an infield RBI single. Clint Coulter followed up the single with a sacrifice fly to right field to complete the Brevard County scoring. The Manatees plated four runs on five hits in the inning and took a 5-2 lead. Brevard County originally took the lead in the bottom of the first. Coulter singled to left with two outs. Garrett Cooper then doubled down the left field line to and advanced Coulter to third. Clearwater starter David Whitehead (5-7, 4.34 ERA) then walked Brennan and Garfield consecutively to force home a run. Brevard County led, 1-0. Clearwater scored a pair of runs in the top of third on a fielding error by Brennan and an RBI single from Angelo Mora. After the Manatees scored four to take the lead in the fourth, the Threshers cut into the deficit in the fifth against Wei-Chung Wang (6-2, 4.54 ERA). Rhys Hoskins hit a leadoff double. Two batters later, Willians Astudillo lined a single to center and scored Hoskins. Wang was lifted after the fifth inning. He surrendered three runs - just one earned - on eight hits. He walked two and fanned five. Tyler Spurlin tossed three shutout innings in relief of Wang. He allowed just three hits - one in each frame - and struck out two batters. With the 'Tees leading 5-3 after eight, Mark Williams was summoned from the bullpen to try to close the game out. With one out, Andrew Pullin singled before Williams hit Hoskins with a pitch. Chace Numata singled to right field to score Pullin. Hoskins tried to advance to third, but a perfect throw from Coulter nabbed Hoskins for the second out of the inning. Astudillo then popped out to second to end the game. Williams recorded his second save of the season. The Manatees and Threshers will play the rubber match of the three game series tomorrow night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Eric Marzec (1-6, 4.87 ERA) will toe the rubber for Brevard County. The Threshers will send Victor Arano (2-7. 4.91 ERA) to the bump. Brevard County Box Score Wei-Chung Wang used 95 pitches to get through just 5 innings. His line was: 5 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. So he had a lot of baserunners. He was able to limit the damage. Spurlin was great in the middle relief role. Mark Williams has now given up runs in 4 of his last 5 appearances. The key play was in the 9th when Clint Coulter threw out the tying runner at 3rd on a single to right for the 2nd out of the inning. Most teams don't run on Clint but it was probably worth the risk here even though it backfired. Taylor Brennan had two hits and a walk. Brevard County Game Log Clearwater Top of the 9th Pitching Change: Mark Williams replaces Tyler Spurlin. Carlos Tocci flies out to left fielder Michael Ratterree. Andrew Pullin singles on a line drive to center fielder Omar Garcia. Rhys Hoskins hit by pitch. Andrew Pullin to 2nd. Chace Numata singles on a line drive to right fielder Clint Coulter. Andrew Pullin scores. Rhys Hoskins out at 3rd on the throw, right fielder Clint Coulter to third baseman Taylor Brennan. Willians Astudillo pops out to second baseman Christopher McFarland.

Threshers Survive Wild One on The Fourth Manatee Rally Comes Up Just Short in Front of 5,259 By Jerry Durney / Brevard County Manatees 07/04/2015 11:37 PM ET http://www.milb.com/assets/images/1/2/4/134780124/cuts/Garfield_tag_1egma43w_2ghq3f5c.JPG Viera, Fla.- There were plenty of fireworks to be had both during and after the game on Saturday night as the Clearwater Threshers (8-2, 45-35 overall) held off a late charge from the Brevard County Manatees (3-6, 32-46 overall) for a 7-6 victory in front of a crowd of 5,259 at Space Coast Stadium. The Threshers struck right away against Manatees starting pitcher Cy Sneed, who was making his first start with the team. Malquin Canelo and Carlos Tocci each singled to center to start the game. Following an Andrew Pullin groundout, Rhys Hoskins walked. Chace Numata then tapped a ball back to Sneed, who threw home for the force out. Willians Astudillo delivered with a two-run base hit to center to put Clearwater on top. However, the inning would come to an end during that sequence, as Numata would be thrown out trying to advance to third. The Manatees' first response would come in the bottom of the second against Threshers' starting pitcher Yacksel Rios. Cameron Garfield doubled to right with one out and then advanced 90 feet on a groundout by Jose Pena. Angel Ortega appeared to hit into a routine groundout to second but Astudillo dropped the throw at first, allowing Garfield to score and the inning to continue. That would be all the Manatees would muster for the inning as Omar Garcia fouled out to first. Clearwater would flex their offensive muscle once again in the top of the fourth, which started with a one-out single from Numata. That brought up Astudillo, who launched a two-run homer into the Thresher bullpen in left field, his third of the season, to give the Threshers a three-run lead. The 'Tees fought back instantly once again as Garrett Cooper worked his way on with a one-out single. Garfield followed with a single and would advance to second when Mitch Walding's throw to first went wide, moving Cooper to third in the process. With Pena at the plate, Rios threw a wild pitch, allowing Cooper to score. After Pena walked, Garfield came in to score when Ortega grounded out to first. Pena would be stranded at second when Garcia popped out on a bunt attempt. The Threshers would give themselves some cushion over the next few innings, starting in the top of the fifth against new Manatee reliever Tristan Archer. Carlos Tocci began the activity with a one-out base hit to center. After Pullin flew out, Tocci would swipe second with Hoskins at the plate. Hoskins would reward him by plating him on a single to left, although he would be thrown out trying to stretch for a double. Clearwater would continue to tack on in the following frame, this time with Numata reaching on a base hit to lead off. He would advance to third on groundouts by Astudillo and Angelo Mora. Following a walk to Walding, Chase Harris' infield single brought home Numata to extend the lead even further. It appeared as if Clearwater had locked the game away in the top of the seventh, with Pullin as the catalyst, thanks to a one-out double to right. After Hoskins popped out, Numata placed a single down the right field line to score Pullin and put the Threshers up by four. Things would become interesting again in the bottom half of the inning, as Brevard County would show their resolve against new Threshers reliever Miguel Nunez. Ortega got it started with a liner to left. Garcia then reached the hard way, as he would be hit on the hip by a pitch. Following a Chris McFarland flyout, Michael Ratterree brought Ortega home on a single to left. Clint Coulter then dropped a base hit into center that scored Garcia and moved Ratterree to third. Taylor Brennan lifted a fly ball deep enough to center to allow Ratterree to sprint home and bring the Manatees within one run. Nunez's night would come to an abrupt end following a walk to Cooper. As Jesen Dygestile-Therrien faced his first batter, Garfield, he threw a pitch that bounced off of the foot of Numata and went up the third base line, putting both runners in scoring position. Garfield struck one well down the right field line, but Harris was able to run it down to keep the Thresher lead in tact. Ulises Joaquin would be responsible for recording the game's final three outs, although it did not start well as McFarland reached on an error by Canelo. The shifted positioning of the Thresher outfield would pay dividends as Ratterree launched a ball to left and Coulter ripped a ball to center that under circumstanced would have likely been extra bases, but instead ended up being two long outs. Victory was assured when Joaquin got Brennan to ground out to third to end the game. Every Thresher recorded a hit on the night, with Numata collecting three. Tocci recorded two, as did Astudillo, who picked up four RBI in the process. Rios earned the win by giving up just one earned run on three hits over six innings while striking out four and walking two. Sneed lasted just four innings, throwing 84 pitches in the process. He gave up four runs on six hits in addition to three strikeouts and one walk. Archer threw four innings of relief, giving up three runs on seven hits. Garfield had the only multi-hit game for the Manatees, as well as the only extra-base hit. The two teams will reconvene on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. as LHP Wei-Chung Wang (5-2, 4.72 ERA) will look to continue as his recent strong run. RHP David Whitehead (5-6, 4.06 ERA) will get the start for the Threshers. Brevard County Box Score Brevard County Game Log -

Blue Jays Soar Past Manatees, 12-4 Dunedin Smacks 17 Hits in Win By Dave Walkovic / Brevard County Manatees 07/03/2015 11:01 PM ET http://www.milb.com/assets/images/4/7/0/119206470/cuts/IMG_2726_6dg3g2ya_p5fk4k4r.JPG Clint Coulter, seen here from a game earlier this year, hit his 11th home run of the season in Friday night's loss. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) Dunedin, Fla.- The Dunedin Blue Jays' (4-5, 36-43 overall) offense led the charge in a 12-4 win over the Brevard County Manatees (3-5, 32-45) on Friday night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Dunedin scored in six different innings and smacked 17 hits in the victory. Rowdy Tellez hit two home runs and drove in four runs. The Manatees opened the scoring in the top of the first inning. With two outs and the bases empty, Clint Coulter smacked a solo home run to left field. It was Coulter's 11th home run of the season and first homer since June 13. The Blue Jays responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame against Brevard starter Jorge Ortega. Matt Dean tied the score at one with an RBI double. Tellez followed up with a two-run homer to right that gave the Jays a 3-1 lead. Brevard County fought back with a run in the top of the second. Garrett Cooper led off the frame with his 21st double of the year. Two batters later, Paul Eshleman drove home Cooper with an RBI single to center. The Dunedin offense answered immediately in the bottom of the frame with a pair of runs. With two outs and nobody on, Anthony Alford tripled to right field and scored on a throwing error by Chris McFarland. Richard Urena and Dean hit back-to-back doubles to make it 5-2, Blue Jays. The Jays scored two runs in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to break the game wide open. Urena hit an RBI single and Dean recorded an RBI on a fielder's choice in the fourth. Ortega (6-5, 2.33 ERA) was removed after four innings. He allowed seven runs - six earned runs - on 10 hits. He did not walk a batter and fanned one. Mark Williams pitched the fifth and the sixth, and surrendered four total runs on four hits and a walk. Emilio Guerrero drilled a run-scoring triple in the fifth. Martin Medina scored Guerrero on a sacrifice fly to make it 9-2 Dunedin. In the sixth, Tellez smacked his second homer of the game and fifth of the season. His two-run blast gave the Blue Jays a nine run cushion. Brevard County plated two runs in the seventh. Angel Ortega scored Cameron Garfield on an RBI double. Omar Garcia then drove home Ortega with a single to left field. Christian Lopes' eighth-inning sacrifice fly against Preston Gainey completed the scoring. Tyler Spurlin tossed a scoreless seventh inning for the Manatees. Luis Santos (5-6, 5.08 ERA) recorded the win. He gave up four runs - three earned - on eight hits. The Manatees will host the Clearwater Threshers to kick off a three-game series tomorrow. RHP Cy Sneed is scheduled to make his first start for Brevard County. The Threshers will send RHP Yacksel Rios (3-2, 3.32 ERA) to the bump. Brevard County Box Score Jorge Ortega worked 83 innings last year and has now about matched that for this season. The Blue Jays had a strategy of swinging early in the count since Jorge gives up so few walks. Other teams have been doing the same thing. 40 innings between walks will do that. Clint Coulter with a first inning home run but then struck out the next 3 at bats. Tyler Spurlin was the one pitcher who gave up no runs but did give up two hits in his one inning. Blue Jay Staff Leads Way In 6-1 Win Four Dunedin Pitchers Combine To Give Up Three Hits By Jerry Durney / Brevard County Manatees 07/02/2015 11:04 PM ET http://www.milb.com/assets/images/5/5/6/90993556/cuts/Peterson_Stephen_qkly3yad_8rtm42xz.JPG Brevard County reliever Stephen Peterson, pictured here from a game earlier this year, gave up two hits in three innings of relief in the Manatees 6-1 loss to the Dunedin Blue Jays Thursday night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. (Dennis Greenblatt/Hawk-Eye Sports Photography) Dunedin, FL- The Dunedin Blue Jays' (3-5, 35-43 overall) strength was on display Thursday night as they rode an excellent performance from four pitchers to cruise to a 6-1 victory over the Brevard County Manatees (3-4, 32-44 overall) at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The Blue Jay breakthrough came in the bottom of the third inning with two out. Anthony Alford worked a walk out of Manatees starting pitcher Johnny Hellweg. Christian Lopes followed with a single that moved Alford to third. Rowdy Tellez would bring home the first run of the night for Dunedin on a single to right. Dunedin's success with timely hitting continued in the following, once again with the bases empty and two out. Emilio Guerrero kept the inning alive with a double to center. Dickie Joe Thon followed with a base hit and then advanced to second as Clint Coulter's throw to third was late. Jorge Saez walked to load the bases for Anthony Alford. He would clear the bases with a triple to right. Alford then came in to score when Hellweg threw a wild pitch with Lopes at the plate. The Manatees' lone bright spot of the night on offense came in the top of the sixth inning. Omar Garcia would start it with a one-out walk and then stole second with Chris McFarland at the plate for his 29th stolen base of the season. McFarland then doubled to right but Garcia had to hold up at third base. After a Michael Ratterree pop out, Coulter walked and on ball four, Blue Jays starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman threw a wild pitch, allowing Garcia to sprint home and put the 'Tees on the board. The wild pitch would bring Hoffman's night to an end. However, Arik Sikula would retire Taylor Brennan on a flyout to center to keep Brevard County at bay. The final tally for the Blue Jays would come in the bottom of the eighth with Stephen Peterson on the mound. Mitch Nay ripped a one-out double to right to set up L.B. Dantzler. He would ground out to third but Guerrero's base hit to center brought home Nay to cap the scoring. Hoffman, the ninth overall pick in the 2014 draft, turned in a sharp start, giving up one run on 2 hits, striking out three and walking two while routinely throwing into the upper 90s over five and two-thirds innings of work. Miguel Castro, who started the season in the Toronto bullpen, retired all six batters he faced in the seventh and eighth innings, four of them via strikeout as he reached as high as 100 MPH on the radar gun. Brady Dragmire recorded the final three outs to secure the win. Hellweg made his longest start since joining the Manatees in his recovery from Tommy John Surgery, going five innings. Over the length of the start, he gave up five runs on seven hits, walking three and striking out one. Peterson threw the final three innings, giving up just one run on two hits, striking out three while walking none. The Manatees will look to earn the series win in the final game of their road trip on Friday night. RHP Jorge Ortega (6-4, 1.78 ERA) will be on the hill opposed by RHP Luis Santos (4-6, 5.15 ERA). First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM. Brevard County Box Score Brevard County Game Log

I like Tyler Cravy but let's remember he doesn't have a lot of innings. He threw 82 all of last year and his high is 90 back in 2011. Currently has 85 IP this year. At some point, he will have to be shut down.

Manatees Use Power In Series Opening Rout Neda, Brennan, Garfield go deep in blowout By Jerry Durney / Brevard County Manatees 07/01/2015 10:45 PM ET Dunedin, FL- The Brevard County Manatees (3-3, 32-43 overall) enjoyed one of their most dynamic nights at the plate this season, smashing eight extra base hits to take the first game of the series with the Dunedin Blue Jays (2-5, 34-43 overall), 12-3 on Wednesday night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The Manatees seized the initiative by taking the lead in the opening inning. The charge started when Michael Ratterree drew a one-out walk. Clint Coulter followed with a double to right that brought Ratterree to third. During Taylor Brennan's at-bat, Blue Jays starting pitcher Jairo Labourt threw a wild pitch that allowed Ratterree to score. In what was a sign of things to come, Rafael Neda led off the top of the second inning with a home run to left. The blast was his second of the season. The power surge truly began in the top of the third, which was catalyzed by a one-out walk to Coulter. Brennan made Labourt pay by launching a two-run homer to left center. The homer was Brennan's second of the season and second in as many games. Cameron Garfield came up next and duplicated the feat by clubbing his second home run of the season, this one a solo shot to left. It was the first time this season that the Manatees hit back-to-back home runs. Brevard County would continue to tack on in the top of the sixth, starting with a leadoff walk to Neda. Steven Halcomb singled to right and when Derrick Loveless misplayed the ball, Neda was able to move to third. Blue Jays reliever Alberto Tirado induced a double play ball from the first batter he faced, Angel Ortega, but the play allowed Neda to score and move the Manatee lead to six. Dunedin showed some fight in the bottom of the inning against Manatees starting pitcher Javi Salas. J.D. Davis began the rally with a one-out double, which was then followed by a walk to Christian Lopes. After Rowdy Tellez popped out, Mitch Nay doubled to right, plating Davis and Lopes. L.B. Dantlzer followed with a two-bagger of his own to score Nay and bring Salas' outing to an end. Kaleb Earls came in and retired Emilio Guerrero. The 'Tees would put the game out of reach in the top of the ninth with Chris McFarland lighting the spark with a leadoff single against new Blue Jays reliever Matt Dermody. Following a Ratterree single, Coulter smacked his third double of the night to bring home McFarland and move Ratterree to third. Up stepped Brennan, who delivered with a two-run single to center. Garfield followed with his a single of his own. After a Jose Pena strikeout, Neda ripped a triple to center to score Garfield. He would then come home on a Halcomb groundout to conclude a six-run inning. Earls gave up a one-out single in the bottom of the ninth but got Dawel Lugo to hit into a double play to complete a 10-out save. Eight Manatees recorded a hit with Neda leading the way with a three-for-four night, including two extra base hits and three runs scored. Coulter's three doubles brought his total to 20 on the season. Brennan's three-for-five night brings him to a .316 average in his last 10 games with five extra base hits and 10 RBI. Garfield, Halcomb and McFarland also recorded multi-hit games. Salas went five and two-thirds innings to earn his team-leading seventh win of the season. He gave up three runs on six hits, striking out five and walking one. Earls gave up just the lone single in the ninth in his outing that spanned three and two-thirds innings. The Manatees and Blue Jays will meet again on Thursday night as RHP Johnny Hellweg (0-2, 9.00 ERA) takes to the mound against RHP Jeff Hoffman (1-2, 3.72 ERA). First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 P.M. Brevard County Box Score The Blue Jays starter, Jairo Labourt, is a hard throwing left hander with very good stuff but is inconsistent. The Manatees have had mixed results against him. Javi Salas was in total control until the 6th when he started to get the ball up. Kaleb Earls with one of his best performances: 3 1/3 IP, 1H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K. Good to see Taylor Brennan with some power. He led the league in walks in the first half but didn't show much power. Coulter with 3 doubles, Neda a home run and a triple, Brennan a home run and a double. Brevard County Game Log
