    I want nothing to do with an extension for Adames. I could probably write a 100 page paper on why it is a terrible idea with examples and would be lucky do write a few pages on why it may be a good idea. He isn't the type of player to give a massive deal to. If someone wants to view him as a safe bet elite SS and give a package to match it...I would ship him out easily.

    The 2013 DUI wasn't exactly a great look either. I don't think people really ever appreciated Yo after that massive first half in 2010 just to have a total meltdown in the second half. Pretty sure he had an injury in there somewhere, but I think many were frustrated it looked like we had a guy breakout to be an ace and he just never was close to it again.

    Leonard didn’t help them at all. He made Wolf try and chuck a TD from the 30 yard line. Should have been two straight attempts to chip it down to something realistic. Honestly that was a bit of a fail on his part. They could have gotten it down to 20 yards or maybe even 15 yards with little effort.

    Or TCU. Who really hasn’t dominated anyone in the Big 12. I don’t know who they play…but them losing is pretty plausible.

    Im not so sure. Georgia and Michigan are pretty much auto-locks at this point. TCU would easily have a spot if they win their championship game (though that will be no easy feat). However, that 4th spot is a bit fuzzy. LSU is the #5 team…but beating Georgia is a big ask. If they can they would jump OSU despite the two losses I would think. USC is a one-loss team and will need to beat Oregon. However, OSU dominated all year and only lost to a playoff team. I don’t know that should make them better. I wouldn’t be shocked if OSU still holds the #4 spot…and honestly, they should. I think LSU is the only team that should jump them to get in…if they can win out.

    Brad Davidson approves this message. Honestly though, I’d rather an iffy flop call versus 20 flop attempts in a game. I don’t know that I really like them dumping the warning though. Each team should get a warning. Felt like the point my was across enough with the threat of a potential technical foul. Officiating in the entire Battle 4 Atlantis has been absolutely atrocious. Refs must be sipping margs on the beach before games or something.

    So was the Dajuan Harris turnover moments earlier…but they didn’t try reviewing that either. Those refs clearly were not interested in making the last 2 minutes take an hour. Not to mention, no one even questioned that play until half an hour after the game was done and someone posted a grainy picture on Twitter. Hard to blame refs for thinking nothing of it when everyone else also thought nothing of it.

    Claiming they didn’t call a flop tech because of the name on the jersey is getting pretty desperate to blame the refs for a loss. Was it consistent? Idk, I will probably die before watching consistent officiating in a sports game. Wisconsin got plenty of generous calls along the way in the 2nd half themselves.

    They call flop technicals on teams that flop. For as long as I have watched any Wisconsin basketball that have been the most flop happy/charge searching team I have watched. Thankfully they started making rules to stop it because early career Brad Davidson was insufferable.

    Not going to lie…this is a weird move. He has no MLB experience. Not like he has some decent experience that may help us in the case of an injury versus throwing Frelick into the mix for two weeks off the bench or something like that. I mean I ain’t going to lose sleep over it, but a bit interesting.

    As a Kansas fan, Wisconsin has a better shot on paper than Wisconsin fans probably think. Kansas really hasn’t been great offensively and defensively is still pretty rocky. They have a freshman getting major minutes for the first time in years and it really shows on defense. The announcers will gush over Dick (…the player), but he has been atrocious and often lost on defense. Crowl is going to be a massive size advantage. The tallest player that will get major minutes for Kansas is 6-8. Kansas sucks at grabbing rebounds as is, before mixing in a size disadvantage. Of course Wisconsin actually has to hit some shots. Everyone is talking about how pathetic the Dayton game was…well, imo, the one prior was even worse considering the opponent and being at home.

    Not really a great sign of how the off-season is going to go money wise…but freaking out before December (where things really heat up) would be a little dramatic. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. To me it is a very clear sign Yelich is going to be in LF next year. They aren’t going to go trot out three rookies…at least not do it and expect to compete. I also think it makes it more likely Wong us actually on the roster. They probably only planned to ever keep one and Wong was likely it. I’d rather depend on multiple OFers to figure it out versus throwing all my Edda in a basket that Turang can hit.

    Does this kill the TC logo jersey? Or is that likely just to be another alt jersey. I always liked that one just because it came off so classic like a Yankees jersey does. It’s a pretty light and bland refresh. They kept the cursive in two of the jerseys which comes off really outdated these days and somehow they kept the little line underneath? Thankfully the Brewers punted that concept into outer space when they did their jerseys.

    Is it that rare though? No one really churns through one and dones outside of Duke and Kentucky. Most teams are developmental teams these days. I think a mix of a lot of one and dones just staying closer to home and some of the elite schools are chasing guys who will stay for a few years. Seems those guys are being spread out among lower level teams than they used to be. I think MSU is in a great spot these days. They recruit well, but don’t have to worry about one and done playing time. Good development and a good coach is the winning formula moving forward, imo. That is what recent championship teams have had. You would have to go all the way back to 2018 to find a team with a freshman starter that left afterwards.

    Pushing your guy into one defensive lineman and leaving two other guys untouched to your right is probably not a recipe for success.

    He helped clog up the hole…I honestly couldn’t believe that. Almost as sad as our WRs 80 yards away as Rodgers scrambled. If he broke another tackle the WRs would have glitched out of the stadium. These guys are poorly coached.

    Don’t some teams use a different guy to kick the kick-offs. Crosby hasn’t been that bad to be begging he retires. 2020 he literally didn’t miss a field goal and he wasn’t that bad last year….and even this year he isn’t that bad. I don’t care if they decide to find someone 20 years younger…but things could be waaaay worse than Crosby
