Being from Utah State is pretty meaningless. The 2021 #3 overall pick just came from NDSU. Love was pretty widely thought of a good physical prospect with development needed. He isn't chopped liver... But still, 1st round QBs flame out at what... 50% rate? Frankly, sitting behind Rodgers for a couple of years isn't the worst thing for him... There are no guarantees that Rodgers will actually physically be able to play after another year or two... And if he is and Love is looking good in pre-season and/or some regular season games, it makes the most sense to trade him off. ESPN, the media, and fans definitely care whether you went to Alabama or Utah State. I wasn’t referring to his skill or his potential future success. Im pointing out the fact he didn’t get the exposure before getting drafted that would cause an uproar if they were treated “poorly”. Not to mention he wasn’t drafted all that high in the grand scheme. If Jordan Love gets upset and demands a trade no one is going to come to the rescue and have his back.
