  1. If he doesn't have a point of use type shut off changing out a faucet is a fairly quick job where shutting off the water for the entire house wouldn't really be a big deal either. Watch a couple youtube videos, that is how I usually decide if I can and want to take on something myself.
  2. I just saw this play scrolling through Facebook and had to come see what the reaction to it was. I always get a kick out of a guy getting credited for a ‘great play’ that involves him making an absolutely miserable route to the ball. I swear JBJ is absolutely terrible at judging balls off the bat, but makes some miraculous recovery’s to make plays.
  3. He had an OPS over .900 at AAA in 2018. He is a guy who has faced MLB pitching for years...he should mash AAA. AAA stats are so meaningless for experienced players whether they were good MLB hitter or not.
  4. Aren't the Dodgers in luxury tax land? Braun would cost a few million and maybe double that in tax and I don't see him as that valuable as a bench bat like the Dodgers are planning for Pujols. Braun would probably play for $500k if it was the Dodgers and he actually wanted to play...but I’m guessing he just doesn’t want to play. Wouldn’t shock me if the Dodgers reached out to him.
  5. I ended up getting the J&J shot last week. I wasn’t overly eager to get vaccinated because, for me, I don’t really fall into any at risk category to be worried about. I was pretty confident some of the common side effects to the shot would be 10x worse than COVID would be for me. Of course at some point, for most of us, it’s about the greater good and not so much personally protecting ourselves from infection. I opted for the J&J due to only needing to get the shot once and the fact the side effects were overall more mild compared to others it seemed. Thankfully I was only a bit tired the first day and the morning after I had a slight headache my coffee quickly cured.
  6. Dang, Dodgers couldn’t pull Braun out of retirement? Would have been 10x a better signing for them.
  7. Jeez man...harsh analysis for a guy with only one full season of pro ball at 18-19. How does one even overrate the guy at this point? He has power, more line drive gap power...but he can certainly smoke the ball. He doesn’t need power with his on base skills and speed.
  8. There is literally zero chance he runs in for a TD. If he would have never looked Devante’s way he probably get somewhat close..but mind you that is if he makes it his mission the second pressure comes to just run. That’s just not realistic and especially not at his age. The reason he would never had gotten close is because there was a lineman (#93) dead on his tail. Not only that but the lineman was farther to the direction Rodgers would have ran. If Rodgers would have ran one of the CBs would have pulled off to cause Rodgers to go more horizontal towards the end zone than directly towards it. In the case #93 would have absolutely destroyed Rodgers from behind. Rodgers probably would not be expecting such a hit and the ball would have gone to the turf. Even just a pump fake to Adam’s would have slowed him down way too much and the lineman would have gotten him.
  9. This team is so pathetic people have to get excited for fly ball outs.
  10. Pretty sure he could have (maybe) caught that standing on the ground. He made it look cool though
  11. David Stearns should step onto the hot seat before Craig Counsell ever does. For the record though, I don’t think either is close to the hot seat.
  12. So what are everyone’s plans for this summer? Anyone got good stuff to keep themselves busy from about 6-10pm?
  13. Aren’t the Rockies paying all of his 2021 salary? So if he opted out after a year the Cardinals would have essentially gotten Arenado to play for free and lose some meh prospects. Doesn’t sound like a bad thing. I admit though, I wasn’t really a huge fan of the deal for Arenado anyway. 30+ year old for entire contract, still a lot of money, and would be moving away from Coors. Would have been an interesting hypothetical trade for us had we not extended Yelich. Could have instead traded for Arenado and had a Arenado/Yelich combo for two years. Then Arenado long term, not Yelich. Now that would have been a feasible thing for the Brewers. Of course I believe he had a NTC so that may have been problematic.
  14. The concept of Cain retiring or Bradley Jr. opting out of his contract is the humor I needed to get through the day. We might as well form an alliance where 8 of us win half a billion dollar powerballs in a row and buy the team. I bet the Brewers hang on to Garcia too if he has a decent year and then he will proceed to suck in 2022 (never has he had two decent years in a row). Probably safe to pencil in that $12mil salary into the 2022 payroll, for now. All of Stearns’ disaster contracts are quite likely to return. Garcia is the only wildcard.
  15. I think he means it in the sense of being disappointed or it being unfortunate. Not in the sense he is literally afraid/terrified because of it.
  16. Then don't? Like, there are 11,000 other things you could do. If you don't like baseball, why watch? Lol what? Thanks for telling me I don’t like baseball. I didn’t know.
  17. Lol what a waste of time to even watch this garbage. Gold glove CFer getting paid millions to embarrass himself.
  18. Urias pumped about saving a run so we lose by one less tonight....wooo...
  19. Either he likes minor league pitching or a change of scenery did him good. Those are eye popping numbers! He mashed AAA pitching in 2018 too...probably nothing to see there.
  20. At this rate 100% capacity at AmFam is going to look just like 25% capacity. Who wants to even watch this in person?
  21. This team sucks, sorry. That Guaranteed Rate advertisement behind home is real fitting for this team.
  22. Kolton Wong is not a good hitter, he is an average hitter. He is like the definition of average. Again, nothing wrong with that considering his defense. As an overall player he is pretty good. But one our Top 3 or 4 hitters? That’s rough. Not saying he was a bad signing, it was a good signing. However, what is bad is Stearns didn’t do enough to improve the offense to the point Wong is not a top hitter on our team.
