That name still doesn't sound familar. I'll take your word for it, I just remember cutting Ryan. Ryan had a really up and down year the previous year, but that year took off with Seattle and as you said, was a fixture the next 10 years. And Ryan was physical. Frost was so bad he didn't make it through the year. They cut him in December and used Kapinos the rest of that season. It was 2008, Rodgers' first year as a starter. That’s the guy, couldn’t even last the year. There really aren’t many punter stats out there, but the ones available are on another level of sad for Frost that year.

Is this a controversial point? He was outstanding all pre-season, regularly booming kicks with 5+ hang time. He was good last year, he's better this year. Definitely worth a 5th round pick to get a guy who can flip the field. No but he's a punter. I recall a punter back in the earlier Rodgers years (maybe post Super Bowl) that was an absolute pile...and really screwed us all the time. Made me want a good punter so bad.

It wasn't great, but that was what we were saying about this receiving core, right? Rodgers needs to throw the ball UP a bit more. I'm still not a fan of the TD throw, but I do like him being a bit more aggressive. Why, the TD throw was a catch or incomplete pass...much like the huge throw to MVS. There wasn’t much risk for an interception on either when the defender is behind the receiver. Worst case the DB gets in there and deflects it away.

I get the Wall of Honor...but an official retirement thing? What on earth....? He didn’t even amass 10 WAR in his career and never had any type of award. Yikes This franchise has a habit of celebrating mediocrity. I guess that's really all they have to celebrate but still. I guess one should really blame Bill Hall for even approaching them with this idea. I mean come on. You weren’t even that good and you have been out of the league since 2012. Just go watch some HGTV or something. Guessing the Brewers decided to just be nice and do it for him.

I will go with a basic prediction: 11-5 I was between 9-7 and 11-5 .I will go with the higher because I think they did improve nicely and there should be some default improvement just because it takes a pretty big disaster to win 6 games with Rodgers under helm. You almost have to go up from there. They need to win close games...I think they can do that, I hope.

It’s already been widely rumored he has gotten MLB offer interest from multiple teams. I don’t think his agent is being overly confident. That’s just how it is. With all the horrible pitchers who get MLB deals to pitch in the bullpen he should probably retire as an agent if he can’t manage an MLB deal for JJ. One bad year is not going to make him MiLB fodder.

Should be interesting to see how the Packers receivers fare this year. Looking at last year half the TDs came from Adams (no one else even had more than two) and no one else was within half a galaxy of 1k+ yards. That is kind of pathetic considering the QB throwing. I’d imagine MVS will break out to some degree, but will there be a third major target? Will Graham actually be a big weapon at TE? Is Aaron Jones actually going to be as good as the hype? A lot of questions surround this offense...something not so common in the Rodger era.
