Standing room wasn’t able to go by the pressbox area. I was there when gates opened and the “not so nice” ticket checker wouldn’t let me go down there to take a simple picture. Seriously? I had front row in the RF bleachers directly behind Yelich. You really think I am looking to sneak down there to stand over 2 hours before the game? Such a joke. I cringed at the thought of being in the back row anywhere where standing room could be there. In LF you can stand directly above people in the bleachers. They get so close to you their bellies are pretty much shading your head. And of course most of them are drunk hanging a beer over your head. Can’t imagine how often people get beer spilled on them.

They aren't the same, there are four different ones. I am guessing they will still give them out if the Brewers return home for Game 6 and/or Game 7...they will just be one of the ones already handed out.

What happens on a return trip home greatly depends if we are going home up 3-2 or down 2-3. If we are down the last two games will be a MASSIVE mess of throwing whatever out there sticks. Game 6 would be a throw all your chips in at all costs and then the next day would be exactly the same dang thing. If we lead 3-2 you might see a more conservative approach...but even then when you got a chance to clinch...well.

Locally and in general that is honestly what it is. It is the ability to pump up the "rivalries" and get people into it. Making up a bunch of BS trophies for most of them. On a more nationwide scale, yah, it is their effective ability to market those "big" games as actually meaning something. Even though I would say over half of them only mean something if the wildest of scenarios works it's way the rest of the season. I mean honestly even if Wisconsin won out I bet they still miss quite easily. Michigan can win out and probably still be out. I mean sure they are still "in it" if you honestly think they won't lose another game and all the teams around them implode.

If anyone was wondering...no, Graham Mertz is not going anywhere. The kid is fully committed to Wisconsin. I wish there was a better way for postseason play though. They simply have to find a way to get more teams into it. Someday this "bowl game" garbage is going to get old and people will stop caring. They have to find a way to make more teams feel like they are actually playing for something every year. It amazes me how much attention college football gets nation wide under the current format.

I expect the Brewers to gun pretty hard for the win today since they depend on their bullpen so much. You could use guys a ton today and then turn around and use them Wednesday. However, it is unlikely and not advisable they do so if they pitch them Wednesday like that. That way we can maximize using those guys over two games instead of one. So if we find ourselves in a tie game come the 5th inning I wouldn't be too shocked if Hader trots out if the match ups make sense.

Offense simply has to come alive and carry us. I don't see any other way we find a way to win 3 more games. That being said hopefully Buehler finds more postseason struggles.

Yup, that is what happens when you call for your bullpen to pitch 4+ innings consistently every day. Fortunately it worked most of the time the last month and a half. We are in serious trouble the next 3 days if our bullpen can't figure it out and/or if Counsell won't give the Guerra's and Peralta's of the world a chance. All these off days and playing max 2 days in a row has been nice. We won't get that luxury right now.

I think the double play gave Counsell a false sense of confidence that Jeremy Jeffress was a little more okay than he was. After a bad first game, giving up a hit, and then walking a guy with the bases loaded is probably a sign he doesn't have it. I am not buying into the "well he almost froze him on a curveball" talk. Almost doesn't matter and really doesn't in a situation like that. You have to throw a strike, HAVE TO! It didn't help matters that he couldn't dispose of a garbage hitter and instead walked him to give up a run. That was not the situation to gamble and risk walking a batter. Definitely not when it is an absolutely poor hitter. If that was Turner (or another really good hitter) maybe then you don't just toss a cookie cutter FB and instead risk walking in a run because that is better than a grand slam. You just can't do it there though. But like I said in the IGT it isn't like the other bullpen options were that great and despite an inexplicable walk he wasn't a total dumpster fire. I wish Junior Guerra would have gotten a chance to start an inning with a clean slate to see what he could do. I think he could help us, but obviously Counsell just wants to stick to the guys who have done it all year. Win with them or die.

They are going to trust JJ so he better figure it out. I bet he finds himself on a shorter leash, but the dude is going to be trotted out there if we are winning/tied.

Why are we destined to suck and drop 2/3 in LA? I have seen it even before the series started. The Dodgers were worse at home vs. the road. Our road record matches their home record. This isn’t college basketball. Home field advantage isn’t that big.

Normally being in a 1-1 tie I’d feel okay...but for our pen to blow it big time in both games is a pretty bad sign moving forward. We depend on them to win games and pitch more innings than our starters(sometimes the entire game pretty much). If they can’t get it done just start digging the Brewers a grave.

Not defending Hornibrook, but... -His receivers dropped numerous passes -They got zero seperation all game -His line was complete trash all game -There play calls and gameplan make throwing the football a joke Pretty convinced no QB would have looked decent under center in that game. Hornibrook is pretty bad by all means, but the guys around him don’t help at all.

I don’t think any of the field bleachers are reserved for media. When I was there Friday they have a makeshift press box behind the field bleachers that was nowhere near full. So I don’t see have there is any way media is in the field bleacher seats.
