  1. I mean what is the difference though? Not like a hard ticket was the holy grail before. They could have been sold on StubHub already and it is already void. The one time I bought on Craigslist I told the seller I was going to punch the barcodes into StubHub first to make sure they were still active. After I got them I listed them overly expensive on StubHub myself so he couldn't list the same tickets if he went home and had the barcodes copied down. The only safe ways to buy tickets are through a trusted 3rd party site or through the Brewers. Then you know you are getting an original ticket. I don't know if reprinting changes the barcode however.
  2. The Stubhub person will get in over the original ticket. When you sell on Stubhub the sale creates a new barcode.
  3. I'd enter into that lottery. I raise bidding to a limo ride to the stadium for a World Series game in exchange for face value tickets
  4. It’s a pitchers decision at the end of the day...but I am sure they all talk and have input. For instance if they win Friday and the Saturday pitcher decides to keep it going the Sunday pitcher pretty much has to keep er going as a team decision. I thought Davies was a big fan of the retros...I feel like he chooses them often.
  5. You can send the tickets through the MLB ballpark app. You can send them to other people’s phones too...I actually think just a screenshot will suffice. Though for getting in it is always best to send it electronically in one of the official manners to avoid issues. Nightmare situation where you forget your phone I am sure will call is an option, especially in the case of a season seat holder. Wouldn’t want to be dealing with that in a postseason situation though.
  6. I don’t care if he saves timeouts for Rodgers...but a backup QB who didn’t plan on playing today? Yah...idk. Not the guy you want to make something happen. Because usually that something is not good.
  7. Sandwhich lines are the worst....my college had a sandwhich place within it and a certain kind of people FaceTimed 24/7 and the sandwhich line was no different. The got annoyed sometimes because they were asked so many questions and multiple times... Unreal.
  8. To me it feels weird to get medals that aren’t his...just me personally. I don’t think it is necessary. Unless there is a way to get replacements through the military I would just pass. I don’t think it is really unethical if you do it though.
  9. If the Brewers at minimum keep pace with the Cubs today they will go to Wrigley with the Division lead on the line. It would take a sweep...but hey, crazy regardless.
  10. Huge day for the Brewers as their playoff odds have jumped to 92.6%. They now lead the #1 WC by 2.5 games and have a 3.5 game lead over the Dodgers. (Cubs and Arizona outcomes will likely effect that percentage a tad).
  11. Why exactly do the Dodgers get an automatic bid into the postseason? They would still have to fend off the Cardinals (who are ahead of them) and the D Backs who will be in the same position if the Dodgers loss tonight.
  12. I don’t want the Dodgers to make the postseason period.
  13. 88.4%, per espn's updated odds. I’m an optimist expecting a Dodgers loss.
  14. Our playoff odds just went flying over 90% I bet. 6 outs from a Dodgers loss to have us 3.5 games over the competition and 2.5 over the Cardinals.
  15. If we pull off the win and the Rockies win we will have a 3.5 game lead over the WC #3 team. The same we are behind the Cubs (or even more of a gap if the Cubs lose their second game).
  16. If Knebel is back he increases our World Series odds dramatically. Soria, Hader, Jeffress, and Knebel? With all the off days if that pen is on all cylinders in October you could ride them a loooooong way.
  17. Jorge Lopez and his two K’s are just 6 outs from the perfect game.
  18. This thread is a spoof/joke in relation to the Wade Miley one. Just a disclaimer.
  19. Cubs lost big time, Cards on verge of losing, Arizona down 2-0 in the first, and Colorado or Dodgers have to lose. I can’t handle myself.
  20. Dude, he is 0-2 with two K’s...
  21. Keston Hiura is going to need way higher than a .750 OPS to get onto the roster before September. Acquiring Schoop was a pretty good sign they aren’t rushing Hiura next year. Why would they promote a 2B only (and not very good 2B) OPSing about what you would expect out of Schoop? What a sad state we would be in if we are promoting poor defending .750 hitters at AAA. Doesn’t make a ton of sense. He better be hitting .850 to get called up and replace Schoop.
  22. I went to check the update and Haudricourt blocked me...all because he said something about how Counsell managed Hader and I said “One word, incorrectly”. Cry me a river Tom. Maybe he sees my posts here and knows I think he is a garbage writer. He is only useful for a Jimmy Nelson update once every three months.
  23. Reading the IGT can sap the enjoyment out of any game. I enjoy this team a lot more when I'm not following that thread alongside the game. Muting the worst culprits helps too, but avoiding it altogether is better. Right, I just just pointing out the IGTs this year vs. other competitive years shows the excitement isn’t really there. The forum in general just feels like we aren’t really competing and could win a WS this year. Maybe some of it has to do with the personalities on the forum these days vs. then...but really a lot of them have been around for years.
  24. I’ve been considering a 20-game pack to get access to postseason tickets easier. I’m not really local, but access to postseason tickets and all the little extras would probably make up any loss from selling tickets under face.
