  1. Brewers lead all teams vying for a WC spot by 2.5 games. The Dodgers 2.5 back, Arizona 3.5 back, and Phillies a distant 5 games back. Arizona and Phillies falling off a cliff right now.
  2. Playoff atmosphere? Hardly. Mostly a road experience at home, not much more. I hope we wouldn’t sell all our tickets for a postseason game.
  3. Lets be honest here for a second. Market size is part of it, but really not the problem here. The problem is our stadium is more attractive to attend. It’s a nicer stadium and has a roof. It’s also easier to attend a game here. Cub fans are also used to paying higher prices for tickets so when the added demand increases ticket prices Brewer fans laugh it off as one of 81 games and refuse to go. To a Cubs fan it is a typical price they are used to paying at Wrigley. Another HUGE problem is the fact we as a fanbase let it get this bad. Now that they buy all our tickets most people don’t even want to go because it is just an awful experience at that point. So we just allow it to get worse. Most rivalries aren’t this close and don’t involve entirely different demographic fanbases. I think a postseason series would be a lot better, but I still am betting a massive amount of people would sell their tickets for a profit leading to a somewhat embarrassing playoff atmosphere. It’s kinda our fault as a fanbase it is this way. We caused it to go from a team traveling nice to show up for their team to a total embarrassment. There is no reason it shouldn’t be 75% Brewers 25% Cubs. We get 25-30k a game any other day. Dollar is king I guess to most.
  4. Brewers playoff odds have now gone up to 85.3% according to ESPN. Would have gone through the roof if the Rockies would have ended up losing. Instead we lead Colorado by 2, D Backs by 3 (have not played today), and the Phillies have gone behind us a staggering 5 games. Seperation is growing, a beautiful site for the Brewers who start a crucial 9 game stretch with a W.
  5. If this was MLB The Show I’d be hitting the steal button so hard right now. EDIT: That will work
  6. Honestly I think it is that way because so many people that go to games don’t actually watch a ton of baseball. Their home games are so pricey it just attracts a lot of higher class people going to a game just to go. It’s halarious how bad they are compared to the rest of mlb fanbases.
  7. Gameday had all three pitches to yelich in the done. Was it wrong. Your gameday had one too many. My gameday has them all well out of the zone.
  8. 17 pitches. Definitely sending him out for a 3rd inning. If he only ends up throwing ~30 pitches he should be available if need be on wednesday too. Heck, I might even send him out for a 4th if he keeps needing only 8-9 pitches per inning, but having Jeffress close it out is fine too. Haha Counsell pitch Hader 3 innings and then use him two days later on one days rest? Pinch me when it happens.
  9. I’m sure they won’t mind when they sit 5 games over us in the standings and are winning the game right now.
  10. [sarcasm]I don’t remember Sosa throwing the collector under the bus. *ducks[/sarcasm]
  11. Mat Albers will start warming up after 4 runs are given up or the bases get loaded with no outs. Which ever comes first
  12. Schoop has a higher career OPS and OPS+ than Villar. And Villar's career numbers are all propped up by his excellent 2016 season. I won't say definitively that Schoop has been the better hitter but to say Villar has been better is not correct at all. Cause Schoop’s career OPS+ isn’t propped up by his one good season (2017) either.
