  1. Showing support for a guy going through a rough time. Classy fan move. The only one's not ready to move on are Twitter warriors. He apologized to the fans and his team, and had one of the most exciting nights of his life ruined by this. Not real sure what other punishment he needs to endure. I think from the outside it brings a lot of negativity towards our organization. I get the reason...but I don’t think that’s how the outside world takes it. I think it is better to just let it go and cheer for him when he does something good. Just my thoughts on it. Hopefully it is done now and we Brewers as a whole can move on from it without any drama.
  2. Are we seriously giving Josh Hader a standing ovation.... Just pretend nothing happened.
  3. He was circling his arm thensecond the ball was hit.
  4. SELL THE FARM!!!!!! WORLD SERIES HERE WE COME. Kershaw is nothing!!!!!
  5. Got something cooking with our 5 hole hitter coming up! Oh...Saladino...must be the 8 hole. I'd rather have Saladino up there than a lot of our guys right now..... That sounds like one of those sad silver linings the FSWI broadcast keeps throwing out there.
  6. Got something cooking with our 5 hole hitter coming up! Oh...Saladino...must be the 8 hole.
  7. His pitch count is also equal to where Anderson was through 3 innings. Exactly. Also most managers don't have a Clayton Kershaw in their rotation. If we had one I doubt he would be going 4-5 innings. >>> Joke >>> ^ You
  8. I was surprised to see them let Kershaw ride there...but then I remembered most managers let their pitchers go more than 4-5 innings.
  9. Well if we want him to be a starter he is going to have countless great moments turned into terrible ones. So might as well get him the experience.
  10. I was so glad Orf finally got his chance...so he could prove he sucked and we would stop hearing about him. I’d rather have Sogard.
  11. To finish this year even, he’s the equivalent of trading for a bullpen arm. Mid season acquisition without giving anyone up. Good looking young arm! Crazy we have those now. Yup, one of the reasons trading him just doesn’t make a ton of sense. Subtraction by addition is a waste of resources. Burnes and Peralta are exciting to have. Burnes looks like a really solid guy and Peralta has that exciting strikeout stuff. Both can be really solid pitchers. Now let’s swing the momentum and get a much needed win.
  12. Does he have a third pitch? *scribbled name into bullpen* Nevermind get Suter out there.
  13. Man that slider is going to look great in our future rotation...
  14. There are kids around the word drinking with their hands out of a muddy puddle and Chase Anderson is using 3 cups at once.
  15. Don’t bring anyone else aboard this titanic...just let him stay in AAA to really fix himself. To hit .280 again.
  16. And I guess you should have a Moderator title under your name...we don’t all get what we want. I kid though...you are right. Things snowball sometimes.
  17. Could see something in offseason regarding the rotation realistically. If Nelson can pitch this year (rehab assignment, not even the MLB level) it would be nice to get some kind of idea what he could provide next year. If he looks MLB starter worthy then you could probably trade a starter. That would give 2 spots for Burnes/Peralta/(maybe Woodruff). Not saying it is a bad idea if you get a good offer, but honestly does anyone really think they would sell this month? I just don’t see it happening.
  18. Some of those guys are absolutely terrible this year. Knebel: Selling incredibly low. I’d rather hope for a bounce back next year vs. getting little in return Anderson: Sure, if you are confident in Burnes/Woodruff/Peralta holding down some rotation spots the entire year effectively. Not sure his value is super high though. Why not just hold onto him? Davies: For what? A bag of balls? Guerra: Same as Anderson basically. Definitely shouldn’t trade both though. We really just don’t have guys that make a ton of sense. If we had some rental relievers or rental positional players I’d tend to agree. We really don’t have those kind of guys though. If someone wants to overpay for a non-core piece I could see it...but that’s more wishful thinking.
  19. I tend to agree with that notion. We will see what happens before the deadline, but major rentals like Dozier seems risky. Sorry for any confusion. I think my “win now” comment got taken too seriously as like 2018 now...I was referring to 2019-2020
  20. They have a lot of work to do before I believe they are built to win now. And even if that were true they can still sell strategically. I don't think anyone is suggesting they blow up the whole thing and start over. Who are these strategic sells? Thames? Okay great, there are some flyers in the low minors. Jeffress? He has been a train wreck everywhere but Milwaukee (on and off the field). The return won’t match the return. We need him dearly if we want to compete in 2019 anyway. Are we strategically selling prospects? I mean I guess you could sell high on Aguilar if a team believes in him...but wow if he doesn’t regress, ouch. I can’t imagine getting cute trading off the MLB roster before the deadline. It might make more sense in the off-season when we might get MLB talent back or involve a third team to take the prospects to give us MLB talent.
  21. They're really not, though. Neither the rotation nor lineup is very good at all. I can understand getting MLB talent because we're not that far away but the more I see I just don't think they're there yet. I think they're probably in a much better position for 2019. The problem is that the Reds are right there too and the Pirates aren't that far behind. St. Luis might actually be the team on the down swing here. Yah I’d love to be really good when everyone sucks (hey AL Central)...good luck timing that one out.
  22. To clear up confusion because I replied to multiple people in one post: Built to win now doesn’t necessarily mean THIS YEAR...just in the near future. I agree we are promising for 2019...exactly why selling makes no sense.
