People they already start looking at close plays before it is ever challenged. There are guys sitting there waiting for a close play to be bumped over to them to look at. The time the manager is sitting on the top step holding up the game it is already being reviewed. It takes long because they have to make sure there is nothing not obvious that could be the call a different way. Like oh he is obviously safe, but wait his hand actually popped off, but we rushed it and missed it.

Honestly injuries are a bigger issue so far. We have major players injured right now on each side of the ball. Never underestimate the effect of a trash OL.

No, not what I am saying. It is the fact your odds of being seriously injured by a foul ball at a baseball is pathetically low. Let's poke fans on this board and see how many have been hit by a foul ball. Anyone here been hurt by a foul ball? You know what is more dangerous at a baseball game? Other fans especially after they drive away drunk. Should we ban beer sales?

Haha depends how much money you got. I'm on the fence about going to another game. If they stay in the race(realistically in it) I plan on making the trek on Thursday in support. -
there are over 1500 reported injuries per year from foul balls at MLB games. How many are serious? Not sure. But that's a lot, and they could be prevented. I could say that about anything in life.

Gotta figure out how to improve this team to win these close games. Need more bullpen depth and need to become more contact oriented.

We live in a world where we have to protect people from their own stupidity. This latest situation wasn't the fault of no netting. It lies 100% on the people that put a 2 year old in one of the most dangerous spots possible. That's just reckless. This isn't a good example for extended netting.

Hope the Rockies win. Just put the fork in. These last three days should blow the season. Don't even deserve to be in it.

Yeah I just said this to my father five minutes ago. It seems pretty sad. I get the market of Cubs fans is much larger than ours but it just doesn't sit well. Large part is the fault of the Brewers. They charge mega prices for these games. Why would I go today when I can go any other series for pennies compared to tonight? Other problem is the Cubs fans will pay those prices so season ticket holders sell off their tickets.
