  1. Where did Hernan Perez start on the Rizzo hit? Was he sitting in the bleachers?
  2. Idiot, wow just wow. How do you let that even happen.
  3. Looked like a great chance to get him too at 2B.
  4. Yah Broxton and Perez are getting old real fast.
  5. I am sorry, but wow Hernan Perez is an idiot at the plate. a 2-0 count and he swings at something away from himself? In what world is that ever a good idea. You swing at your favorite pitch there or not at all. Then again he swings when it is 10 feet off the plate all the time so maybe that is his favorite. Probably forced him to bunt after that stupid swing.
  6. He is coming back no question. As you said in a platoon with Aguilar is the most likely. We have little payroll so you would bring him back just for the power and see if he can be better in his second campaign back in the states.
  7. Are you serious. Of course that goes foul.
  8. That was predictable. Never make your first step in...unless you are a Brewers RF. Braun/Santana/Perez. Some terrible things we like to throw out there in RF the past few years.
  9. How about for comments about the strike zone? 645.5?
  10. The postseason starts today for the Brewers. If the Brewers want to pull off a September comeback today is where it has to start.
  11. That subject has no place here. That is going to go nowhere but bad places. Weird you would bring it up after a comment that goes exactly against what you are trying to claim.
  12. Scooter Gennett had little to no trade value. Appointing Villar the 2B and Gennett being on the trading block MEAN NOTHING if Gennett trade value was so great like some think it was. If teams thought he was so valuable there would have been teams bidding against eachother. The only time such a situation hurts a players trade value is when it is already low and it's questionable if another team outside of(the Reds in this case) themselves even would claim him.
  13. This Scooter Gennett situation is something that is going to happen when you start getting so many talented young players. Gennett was 100% gone before the season. If you want to complain we got nothing instead of some lower level pieces fine. However I don't see where prior to the season it made a ton of sense to keep Gennett around. Villar definitely looked to be way better and was more versatile. Gennett is a solid platoon guy, but has his weaknesses. We will see if this kind of offense stay for him. We might see the same thing again if we opt to trade Villar and get someone more proven. Villar could revert closer to his 2016 numbers.
  14. Boo boo. This is about winning baseball games not making everyone feel included and make things fair.
  15. It probably come down to how long it takes to process a close call after it crosses home plate. You are barely into that mental process when the catcher frames it. Think about...the amount of time between crossing homeplate and the catcher catching the ball is ridiculously close to zero. So while processing a decision the catcher has made it look beautiful and impossible for your brain to ignore that. I also think people don't understand how close most pitches that are framed are. A pitch just outside on FoxTrax is easy to see...but in game in person good luck.
  16. Hader sure turned a corner the other day...oh well.
  17. Arcia has as many homeruns as Braun....on September 4th.
  18. Other teams don't shoot themselves in the foot?
  19. Unfortunately it may be a lot like Villar's baserunning. Great to be confident, but sometimes I am just left scratching my head.
  20. Huge win. Looks like it will be a .5 deficit in the WC and the Rockies are really scuffling.Rockies still have to go on that brutal trip to play LAD and AZ 8 games in a row. Need to turn this .5 game deficit into a solid lead by mid September.
  21. Haha alright man. It's the fact people thought the one outing was more than it was. His control nosedived the next day to what everyone is concerned about.
  22. 2/3 from Rockies 2/3 from Dodgers 3/4 from Nationals What's not to like these days? Brewers are alive and well in the postseason race.
  23. I don't recall a year ever scoring this much on wild pitches/past balls.
  24. Yah I try not to get excited about one outing. Everyone lost their minds over Hader a few days ago and the very next day he blew the game. give me a break. Do you disagree? Cause most people got really excited just to be dissapointed a day later. Sorry that was the reality whether you want to accept it or not.
