  1. The color scheme was terrible...couldn't get past that.
  2. The Brewers are going to be in the thick of a playoff race and playing meaningful baseball when the calender turns to September.
  3. Shuckers hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in crucial win over Jacksonville Jacob Nottingham records second career multi-homer game in the win By Biloxi Shuckers Jacob Nottingham celebrates his second home run of Sunday night in the seventh inning. (Hunter Reed) Biloxi Shuckers Box Score Quick Summary: BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers hit back-to-back-to-back home runs for the first time in franchise history, coming back to beat the first-place Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 10-5 on Sunday night. Angel Ortega , Javier Betancourt , and Jacob Nottingham each went deep in the seventh inning to keep Biloxi alive in the playoff race. With eight games remaining, the Shuckers are 4.0 games behind the first-place Jumbo Shrimp in the South Division. They play Jacksonville three more times at MGM Park before heading to Mobile for a five-game series against the second-place BayBears to end the season. Luis Ortiz went 4.0 innings in his first start in two weeks, allowing a two-run home run to John Norwood in the first inning but facing just one over the minimum in his final three frames. The righty struck out one and walked one while throwing 60 pitches. --Biloxi Shuckers Pitching Summary: On the mound, Luis Ortiz (4.0 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K) started the game while Taylor Williams (2.0 IP, H, R, 3 K), Nick Ramirez (2.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, BB), and Matt Ramsey (1.0 IP, BB) provided the relief. 4. A series win!!!!!! Brewers best the Dodgers! Take that negative nancys of the forum!
  5. His record is luck. You could provide real statistics in your argument though. Davies second half has been good. Since MLB changed the rules to basically kill him since he depended on the low strike (yes technically the rules did not change, but yeah..) his first half coudl just be him adjusting. If he can replicate his 2nd half going forward, he is strong #2 pitcher. Where did you mention his record? That is what I was talking about. Briggs is rating Zach Davies solely on record. The same guy who had a .714 winning % for his terrible first half and now his winning % has gone down in the 2nd half despite results twice as better. Briggs continues to rate players in ways that make no sense despite us giving him evidence .

  7. Well Jose Quintana and the Cubs are getting smoked through six innings. I wonder if they are calling off the season. A Brewers fan would.
  8. Gatewood, Nottingham homer in loss to BayBears Blake Allemand was 2-for-5 with three RBI's on Thursday night By Biloxi Shuckers Jake Gatewood blasted his first MGM Park home run on Thursday night (Hunter Reed) Biloxi Shuckers Box Score Quick Summary: Poor pitching and three errors made it an ugly day for the Shuckers. Jon Perrin started for the Shuckers going five innings only giving up two earned runs. Unfortunately poor defense added three unearned runs to that total. All said and done the Shuckers gave up twelve runs with four of those being unearned. The offense was power by a three RBI day from Blake Allemand and Nottingham/Gatewood HRs. For Jake Gatewood it was his second AA homerun of the year. Pitching Summary: On the mound, Jon Perrin (5.0 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 2 ER, BB, 2 K) started the game while Forrest Snow (2.0 IP, R, BB, 4 K), Quintin Torres-Costa (0.0 IP, 1 H, 3 ER, 2 BB), Josh Uhen (1.0 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, K), Matt Ramsey (1.0 IP, 2 H, ER, BB, 2 K)provided the relief. 9. Mauricio Dubon could be brought up for speed. He isn't on the 40 man though so good luck with that one.
  10. (Hunter Reed) Biloxi Shuckers Box Score Quick Summary: BILOXI, MS - The night after a dramatic come-from-behind victory, the Biloxi Shuckers were unable to solve the Southern League's ERA leader Grayson Long on Wednesday in a 2-0 loss to the Mobile BayBears at MGM Park. 11. I really have a hard time seeing Josh Hader get a spot in the rotation with what he has shown. The results have been good, but such an utter lack of control. I just don't know if he can really be good for six innings straight and a third time through the batting order. To get the best results out of Hader I think you would be forced to pull him early(kind of like what happens with Garza). That can have a nagative effect on a weak bullpen. Id rather find a more reliable 5th starter and let Hader step in for someone else when they go down for a month so we can see him in the rotation before giving him a full time gig.
  12. I doubt pick off attempts effect a runners lead. Getting picked off by a catcher usually means you are being lazy.
  13. Haha this thread is why I love baseball. You go Shaw.
  14. Well that was a fun win. Lets get another big road series win tomorrow.
  15. I would have to agree with you. Josh Hader is a legit bullpen force when on. I will pitch him against anyone in the majors when he can locate his pitches just a little bit.
  16. How embarrasing that would have looked with a decent throw. lol
  17. Hernan Perez throws a dribbler and the ball gets to homeplate before the runner is even in the camera view. I understand there are two outs and all...but wow Giants. Swarzak was looking terrible I would take my chances letting the next batter have a shot.
  18. At this rate I am going to be listening to the game on the radio on my way to work.
  19. The second it left his hand I was mentally putting him on first...then his bat started to move. Couldn't believe itl.
  20. If I recall I am pretty sure people were already starting to predict the entire roadtrip to be some disaster after the first loss in Colorado.
  21. Thats fine. That is how the in game threads usually work. Many people make posts on quick reactions and you will pay if you are wrong. I do it from time to time. It is usually a risky venture to make reactionary predictions in the IGT.
  22. Going by the numbers, it is a little bit Never seen something so small, blown into something so silly. A one run lead is something so small...and you turned it into something so silly like the game was likely over.
  23. Looks like that wasn't the ballgame after all shockingly...or not so shocking.
