  1. Don't forget that dangerous shampoo bottle.
  2. Dubon seems like almost a given for his speed and defense alone. I imagine arm(s) will be promoted to at least pitch in garbage time.
  3. How do you know Broxton was going to be so much better? You are just hating to hate. Why? Can't you like...be positive?
  4. Great way to show the Villar start was dumb Because he homered off the guy who didn't pitch the first 6 innings? Your comment would make some sense if he came in and hit it off Nova.
  5. We were not screwed out of a win. It was well within the rules and something done most of the time in those situations. That being said I hate the rule where they can ask when they don't have a challenge.
  6. The dumbest part is if it fails fans will hate him more cause the Brewers put him in CF.
  7. I am guessing he has been practicing out there to some extent...so we shall see how this goes. I'm not sure what to even think. I don't think he will be very good, but if he an avoid disaster mishaps maybe it could work. This just seems like a weird thing to do. Not like he has been tearing the cover off the ball for weeks.
  8. Agreed, but the Rockies have 14 games against the Dbacks/Dodgers and 3 against the Brewers still. Agree things can change if one of the wild card holders beats up the other. Or of course we sweep the Rockies etc. Regardless I'd be more focused on the division 2.5 games away vs. a wild card 6 games away.
  9. If we catch the second wild card we are probably divisional leaders at that point. We are 6 games back on the wild card spots. With 40ish games left that is a heck of a lot of ground to pick up.
  10. 12. And their MLB roster is a gigantic dumster fire.
  13. Dont dislike him but he fades real fast and its usually quite obvious... yet here he is being allowed to plate 2 more... Would help if our pen wasn't a hot mess. Forces us to try and squeeze everything out of our starters.
  14. Although he is hitting .000 as a pinch hitter. That makes him a worse pinch hitter than Villar, who is pinch hitting at .167 (not .333). I used his entire career when I made my comment yesterday just so you know. Using 19 ABs to judge his pinch hit abilities(what he has this year) would be dumb...not that 48 is any better. Also I don't like to mention to everyone I never made a silly Villar to Braun comparison(someone else) and I don't know why Rick feels the need to bring this up in a totally unrelated topic.
  15. Jonathan Villar cannot be sent down and the Brewers would be idiotic to lose him. Eric Sogard would probably not be claimed and would just accept his assignment back to Colorado. I guess there might be a risk he gets scooped up, but how big of a loss would that really be?
  16. Jonathan Villar, acccording to BR.com, is a .333 hitter as a sub with an OPS+ of 157. I imagine sub=pinchhitting. Strikes out waaaaaaay too much, doesn't take pitches or walk much, not a defensive upgrade anywhere...... common' Well just saying statistics say Sogard is not a MUCH better pinch hitter.
  17. He is owed $5mil over two months. That is a lot of money...a lot. They have to pick up money just to make him a salary dump.
  18. Jonathan Villar, acccording to BR.com, is a .333 hitter as a sub with an OPS+ of 157. I imagine sub=pinchhitting.
  19. Offense has scored 10 runs and 6 runs in their last two games. 2 games back on the Cubs and Cardinals.
