  1. Segura is garbage and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he isn't in the Bigs 3 years from now. I'm not even sure he would be worthwhile as a utility guy. His defense isn't that great and his bat is negative...very negative if you ask me. Bottom line this guy is done as a starter and should start hoping he can make it as a utility guy. Anyone having him as a starter after he is done in Milwaukee is in a sad situation like we were in 2011.
  2. Khris Davis is also just starting to enter his prime. For a lot of players they hit about 27 years old and that's when they take off. For example Braun/Pujols both had their best years between 27-30. On a more comparable(not elite level) you have Corey Hart who had his two best years at 28-29. So it isn't crazy to think Khris Davis will improve and have better stats as a lot of players will at this time. Trading Khris Davis in his highest production years will net a big haul and I would be all for it. However, I think this franchise has aspirations of competing in 2017 and I don't see them trading away Davis. They would have to be firm believers in Santana to make such a trade.
  3. Beating the Cardinals...GREAT. Beating the Cardinals with a homer off a guy they gave us a prospect to get, PRICELESS.
  4. When I first saw the replay it looked like he tagged his helmet. You couldn't really tell but since he was called out, the call had to stand. Close call and sucks for the Brewers but it was the right call. Saw the replay video on MLB.com....definitely tagged him on the helmet. Cardinals feed(not sure if they got same views Brewers broadcast got) showed an angle where the helmet jerks a tad. Scoreboard supposably had bad angle.
  5. Why Will Smith didn't come in I will never know. Or why we didn't walk him...
  6. It would be nice to have a catcher who could throw down to 2nd
  7. Elian Herrera might be my favorite garbage player since Counsell. His stat line is horrendous, but hey he gets some big hits.
  8. No Bernie's slide only sprayed water when the Kalahari sponsored it. Which I think was only one year. I think part of the problem with concession stand lines is the fact so many volunteer groups run them. These people aren't very experienced with running concessions and can be slow/inefficient. That being said I don't think the lines are that bad and honestly getting food before the game is way smarter than trying to between innings. Of course that isn't always an option.
  9. There is lots of winning going on...by the opposing team.
  10. That bottom of the ninth explains the Brewers quite well.
  11. Announcer missed the racing sausages. He was too busy drooling over Molina's sausage.
  12. Yadier Molina...err...Jonathan Lucroy with his 16 GDP this year. That is 30+ pace in a healthy season. About 33 to be exact...
  13. Alright fine we keep them, but put both in LF really high so I forget they exsist like the dew deck. I don't think the exclusive areas are that big of money makers and you have to remember there would be a lot of added seating with this plan. They did ax the Toyota Territory so why not make two more dissapear? This is also something I would want. Not necessarily what Attanasio would want.
  14. If I could change one thing I'd fix the outfield seats though. In RF I'd extend it all the way to the scoreboard smashing the Toyota Territory along the way. I'd also find a way to atleast partially connect it to the loge level in foul territory. In LF I would extend the smaller type section all the way to the scoreboard smashing the check deck away. I feel that would look much better as those exclusive areas don't look so great to the eye. And #2 Firework Fridays...cause you know...why not?
  15. The location pretty much eliminated any wow factor potential being located in a big parking lot. Which for the Brewers is fine because tailgating in a ways is the big thing fans do experience. The Bucks are looking at the wow factor. Well I was speaking if we could redo this thing since realistically you can't change Miller Park very much. Milwaukee downtown is garbage compared to other cities that really have that wow factor. Even doing what the Bucks are doing is quite a reach. I guess the only way you could have gotten a wow factor in Milwaukee would have been to make it an outdoor stadium and literally put it right next to the lake. Milwaukee just isn't a wow factor kind of city so they wisely just put a roof on it and gave it a sea of parking lots.
  16. I actually like being able to afford decent seats...sooooooo Miller Park > Target Field. Miller Park is one of the most affordable places to go. The fact they decided against an exclusive padded seat area behind home plate was secretly brilliant. Hard to like a stadium when it swallows your wallet whole.
  17. I am fine with not having a wow factor though. Miller Park is geared around the experience of watching the game and having unique little pieces about it. We have a giant scoreboard only rivaled by few and unlike many others it sits right outside the outfield wall to make it seem even bigger. Add that the the roof, bernies slide, our sea of tailgating, and Fridays front row I think we have many things to make us our own. Miller Park will always be #1 for one reason...that roof. I always get a mini heart attack when I buy tickets to Wrigley etc. and a chance of rain is in the forecast. Nothing worse than wondering if your $250 tickets will be all for nothing. I don't go to sit gaze at the bridges outside the stadium and I don't go to experience stuff outside the stadium. I go to experience the game and Miller Park does a pretty fine job. Does anyone have a wow factor idea? I feel like most of those are either scenery, history of ballpark, or community around it. With all due respect to Milwaukee it doesn't possess any of that.
  18. Nothing like starting a bit of a rally and then Logan Schafer walking to the plate...
  19. I must wonder how long an All Star appearance can keep you on the MLB roster...So far the answer is much much too long. Guy needs a demotion in the worst way.
  20. Yup your mail has to go to a regional center or something before it can go to the recipient. We had this problem in my very small city a year or so ago. The local high school's letters to parents came late and people we very upset. The letters(that were given to the local post office) had to take a 2.5hour trip to St Paul before making a return trip back. Weird guidelines they have to follow.
