  1. I don't think anyone wanted to hear about other incidents or even hear them talk at all. The game should have been canceled immediately after he left the field and the broadcast should have been shut down. Instead, the NFL was hoping the players would want to retake the field and it dragged on forcing the announcers to be on camera and required to talk. There was nothing to say. When everyone literally has to watch a guy die on the field and be brought back to life that should be a wrap for the night. No need to speculate and talk about similar situations as a guy is off to the hospital and no one knows if he is dead or alive.
  2. My significant other is a massive marvel person…like huuuuge fan. So naturally I have accepted watching them and she started me off from the start (never watched one before). I am trying hard…but I don’t like them . The storylines are strange and scattered…the middle of the movies are really boring and I pretty much doze off. Anyone familiar with the phases I just finished the the second avengers movie. The only movie I have really enjoyed are the Iron Man movies and maybe the first avengers. The Thor movies have been really boring to me. Don’t line those at all.
  3. Even the lowest of low life forms (Twitter users) were in indisputable agreement the game couldn’t go on without considering any kind of competitive consideration. It’s a scheduling nightmare, but nowhere near the nightmare of a guy getting CPR and an AED on a football field.
  4. I worked at a pizza place when I was in high school. The reason is simple. People have epic meltdowns and tantrums if it isn’t ready at their pre decided pickup time. If you want it at your lunch time 5-10 minutes late can be a third of your lunch time…huge problem. To avoid it getting lost or slowed down by an unexpected rush we made sure to get those orders done slightly early to avoid it being late and in case a mistake/problem occurred. At a pizza place (at least where I worked) the warmers were really effective and if your food sat on the warmer longer it wasn’t really noticeable at all. With other types of food maybe not. Also, those pre planned orders ahead of time are incredibly annoying and a pain to track time wise. People don’t walk around with alarms that say “start the order to be ready at 12:00” that came in two hours ago.
  5. Just postpone the game, what are they waiting for? If he starts breathing they are going to play, but if he dies they are going to send everyone home? Stop the broadcast, send people home, and let the family/players/etc. deal with it and not have play by play video with reactions.
  6. I am missing why the Lions would care…? Actually, I am wondering why the Lions OR Seahawks would care? It is an advantage for the Packers IF the Seahawks win…but I don’t see the disadvantage for the Seahawks or Lions. Even for the Packers, I don’t know that the advantage is that big if the Seahawks lose. Unless the Lions have some major players as 50/50 gametime decisions (that end up getting sat in a meaningless game, I think we basically get 100% effort out of the Lions.
  7. Nixon sure didn’t struggle running up the middle the entire length of the field…
  8. Let’s be honest, no one cares whether the Lions have a shot or not. It’s about the Packers, who 100% will be playing for that playoff spot at home. If the Lions are too, that’s just icing on the cake for ratings.
  9. Wonder if it was: 1) Both offers happened to be on the table at the same time and that’s how he got to decide he was getting traded for win-now players. or 2) Attanasio shot it down and told Arnold he can find win-now talent for Wong or Wong is on the 2023 roster.
  10. And the guy he snubbed before the game got an INT.
  11. Well, regardless of their record…the defense told you that. Rodgers carried some horrible defenses to good records, it never ended well when it mattered. Cousins can’t carry a crud defense without ridiculous luck and breaks.
  12. Big 3rd and 10 so the Vikings decide to play 10 versus 11. Bold strategy cotton…it didn’t work.
  13. That kick was a poor idea after he already missed it from 46, then you expect 50? You are down big…you need more than hoping for a 50 yarder.
  14. Well he is on the verge of keeping JJ to zero receptions in a half.
  15. Meh. Aaron Rodgers performance would be a lot more dismal for that excitement. He isn’t playing terrible…but this team would need to get carried by him to have a deep run…I don’t see any hope of that at this point.
  16. Because we aren’t facing good teams? Bears suck, Rams suck, Dolphins have been spiraling for weeks. I think defying logic would be winning these last two games on top of that. We have home field advantage to maybe get that done.
  17. I think I’d rather focus on winning this game…because I’d still pick us to lose if we got an 11 point advantage headstart.
  18. Good idea. Definitely call a play that we can get sacked on and give it to the Vikings on our side of the field. Smfh
  19. We would probably already have clinched a playoff spot if Amari Cooper wasn’t on special teams most of the year.
  20. A record payroll after years of big boosts in revenue sharing, new TV deal, baseball inflation, etc. Probably about as meaningful of a raise as when your employer gives you a 5% cost of living raise at the end of the year after 9% inflation. #17 payroll in 2011, #10 in 2012, #16 in 2019, and #19 in 2022. The Brewers aren’t really spending more, baseball values have just gone up in general and they are keeping pace.
