  1. One thing I love about west coast trips is 9p games. When I get home from work I like enjoying what daylight we have left and go run or bike.
  2. I'm with you on the latin signings. That aspect of player acquisition has been nothing short of a disaster for decades. That's been a Brewer issue though and not exclusive to this regime.
  3. Another dazzling play by our defensive ace at SS. At least it wasn't Sogard.
  4. That is the worst lineup imaginable. I look forward to the 10 run outburst tonight.
  5. One thing I did not expect going into this year was Josh Hader being used as a mid 2000's style, only pitch the 9th with a lead closer. It especially hurts given we've already had several games blown around the 7th/8th inning.
  6. I mean, he's literally been replacement level from 2018 through 2020. You're arguing just to argue. Sogard isn't good. Arica has been a okay SS that is leading the team in hitting and yet, finds himself on the bench for a journeyman that got hot last season so Counsell just had to have him back. I'm really fine with your original post that the conversation can end here. I don't think the Brewers want either one as an everyday SS and hopefully Urias can get to Milwaukee soon.
  7. I don't think people appreciate how clutch (lucky) Brewers hitting has been so far. They've scored a lot of runs given how bad it's been. And I don't mean just a lot of hard outs bad, there have been an incredible amount of whiffs, strikeouts, and weak contact.
  8. Who else on this roster do you suggest replacing him? I’d rather play Arcia all 60 games than see Sogard and that rag arm he has at SS. It’s bad enough we have Hiura at 2B with that noodle arm. At least when Arcia boots the ball and throws it away it's flashy and exciting, instead of boring Sogard errors.
  9. That's actually really good considering how bad their overall team batting average is.
  10. I think all of this is out the window this year. The season is two months long. Which makes it especially surprising to me that this was only the second game he's pitched and both have been only the 9th inning.
  11. This was a fun read through, brings back a lot of memories. I can't believe it took 16 years for another 4+ run 9th inning comeback.
  12. I know it's only been six games so you don't know everyone's bullpen role for sure yet, but I'm a little surprised it seems Hader has only been used in classic closer 9th inning situations.
  13. 2nd start of the year and 92 pitches. I'm ok with it. Nah, at least let him finish the 7th
  14. Not a fan of the super quick hook. If we're ever going to develop starting pitching, we need guys like Woodruff being allowed to pitch into the 8th and 9th inning.
  15. Do any of the 14 even have symptoms?
  16. I wonder when we'll get to the point where we start to question the validity of these tests. I find it hard to believe someone who has no symptoms, tests positive and then negative, actually has Covid.
  17. Yeah, it's actually a pretty small number. I think it was in Orlando that ~33 pct of all people who came to the Hospital for non-covid related reasons(car accidents, etc...) tested positive without knowing it. So the impact on MLB is extremely small. If what you say about Orlando is true, that makes me question how legitimate the testing process is more than anything. Or on the other hand it could explain why there aren't many new cases in New York these days because almost everyone would've had it by now.
  18. Stars sit out significant portions of the season every year due to injury. This particular reason is nothing more than a brain injury.
