Luis Rengifo had a 73 wRC+ in 541 PAs last year, Joey Ortiz had a 67 wRC+ in 506 PAs last year (54 this year). Sample matters. At some point these guys are who they are.
The logic that "if they struggle in AAA, they’ll be worse in MLB" ignores how player development actually works. Every prospect faces a "jump" where they have to adjust to better scouting and more experienced pitching
The real question isn't whether the prospects will struggle it’s about the ceiling.
Ortiz and Rengifo have shown theirs. They are players who can't barrel MLB velocity and pitching. There is no mystery left to solve there. Ortiz glove is the only thing saving him from playing for the Savanah Bananas.
Williams and Pratt are finding their footing. Even if they come up and produce a 70 wRC+ (the same as the current guys), you’re at least giving those reps to players who have the potential to adapt and become 120 wRC+ anchors. I also think Pratt has just a tick worse glove than Ortiz. Still well above average.
