Hate to be that guy to rehash the past but man that Hader trade would have been quite disastrous without Arnold's wizardry to snag Contreras. Looking at the NYM seems Stearns lost his fastball right around that time. Thankful for Mr. Matt Arnold.

Curious to hear if you know how rehab is going for this young man, and if this timeline is still on schedule? He is one I am really rooting for. Elite stuff going back to high school, but an all time bad luck start to his career. Could explode up prospect lists God willing he finally stays healthy.

I get that all our prospects cant make the big league level (with us) or even be successful, but we have something really rare right now and vital to the sustained success of a small market team. I would be very cautious dealing away some of these guys. Luckily one of the best assets of this front office is their ability to self scout.

We got a top of the rotation talent arm and then some for 3 UT players. Just an insane development. And if/when command comes Sproat has all the potential in the world as well. -

Really encouraging to see Fischer start to make more contact with that type of pop. Man alive those Volunteers take serious hacks. High-A is a heck of an adjustment period from the college game. Seems like he is learning the nuances of hitting to go with the raw tools. Same can be said for Payne starting to hit more. I don't think they should be rushed up right when they are starting to figure it out! Adamczewski has nothing left to prove at this level.

I think its time for some changes. This is a huge series coming up and will expose a lot. Rengifo is at the end of his rope. Ortiz is getting there. And Sal honestly deserves to be optioned. He has been that bad this year. -
