  1. Kind of a fun site. Their prospect evaluations are all messed up but still fun to play with and not a $25 grift. https://rosternomics.com/
  2. In the bottom of the 9th Frias just took 2 of the largest hacks I have seen all season in the minors... I am talking A++ lol. My goodness that kid has bat speed. He gets down in count 1-2 and still gets his A-swing off to rope a triple 106 MPH off the bat. Maybe a bit too aggressive that AB but hey if it works! Antunez singles him home with a nice piece of hitting to the opposite field and then a SB. WILSON is FUN!
  3. It is the most recent trade of a Cy Young winner in a walk year. I understand Skubal is better I also understand he has less control and is coming off injury/fresh surgery. It is a huge risk and one I am not willing to part with Pena for.
  4. I recall thinking we were gonna get a haul for Burnes and we got what we got for a full year of pitching...
  5. The name of the game is surplus value. It is especially important when the Brewers don't have a financial appetite to replace years of *possibly substantial lost value with free agents like other teams can. Got to nail who you trade.
  6. Jake you're one of my favorites for this very reason 🤣. Really surprised Steve Phillips is out of baseball and only has a radio show nowadays!
  7. Addison Russell was a big part of the Cubs winning that WS. He was well on his way to being a perennial all star before all the off the field nonsense. It was a horrendous value for Oakland at the time and with hindsight it looks better because of unpredictable factors (which I do not give credit for). Those prospects and farm system are not even close to the level Milwaukee has in comparison.
  8. There is not a chance that DePaula is on the table. I swear people think every front office runs like the 2000s. Established, elite prospects have never been harder to obtain (outside of AJ Preller and Dave Dombrowski) and now they're in a package for a rental? Color me dubious.
  9. People we have to factor control in this. Jesus Made won't and shouldn't be traded for anything less than a controllable superstar.
  10. This is a lot of assumption. Or you could look at this being just the beginning of our window. With potential superstars in Made and Pena to supplement an already young and great core. You have to trade the right prospects. Some of these media offers are frankly ridiculous. It is not prospect hugging when you realize just how few starts you are gonna get for 6 years of a really good player or two. I am all the way out on Skubal if that's the cost. Trade the right guys with flaws.
  11. This DSL class is absolute insanity just a ridiculous injection of talent.
  12. Heck of a run he has been on since his return from injury. Didn't know he had immediate power like this in his profile.
  13. He needs a change of scenery. I am gonna root for him but it is not in the cards with Milwaukee. Unfortunate eye injury changed it all.
  14. Just had to complain! Feels dirty rooting for the Cards.
  15. Well, this just ruined my night St. Louis has done zero this series. It’s ridiculous. That little pissant has to slow down sooner than later. He’s really. not this good. Suddenly, he has elite discipline and knowledge of the strike zone. I don’t understand it.
  16. The numbers obviously aren't bad from a complete view, but losing a series to the Giants feels not great. Especially with how poor the offense has looked at times off break. This was also a very winnable game that Skip punted (I get why Pannone started though)
  17. Need an elite Dustin May performance or another Derby in Biloxi to get me out of this pissy mood.
  18. Bingo this was time to make some distance if anything.
  19. This is about as irritated as I have been with a game this season. I usually take the 1/162 approach but Cubs red hot and team losing focus is not a great combo. Brain dead management today to put the cherry on top. Frustrated.
  20. Ashby has not been great in leverage situations for a bit now. Just another example of too must trust in your guy when the data says the opposite.
  21. This isn't even hindsight. I have no clue what Murphy is doing in a one run game.
