    I am suprised to see Sheets name coming up so much. That guy was basically hated her a year ago. There is no way Sheets will be back with the crew. There will be teams willing to pay him more than Milwaukee and I doubt he has any interest in coming back here.

    Our starting pitching is the worst in the league. The free agent market is weak, especially in starting pitching. We are going to have to trade from a deep position.

    This is me probably trying to be wishful thinking, but is there anyway that Braun could play an average center field? He seems very quick and has made a very easy transition to left field.

    I have never seen a game at Wrigley Field. My father in law bought us some tickets for the Sept. 17 day game, Brewers vs. Cubs. I have to admit, the place is pretty cool to watch a ballgame. One thing that was truely amazing to me...just how many Brewers fans there was there. There were alot! And they were loud. It wasnt 50/50 like games at Miller Park, but it was easily 80/20 cub fans. Urinating in the bathrooms is a "different" experince. I also have to say, the cub fans were good to me. No one even said anything to me. It was a good day there.

    1. Pujols 2. Consistently good defense 3. Duncan as a pitching coach 4. Seizing the opportunity when there is a window. Such as trading for Derosa, Holliday and obtaining Smoltz

    If Hardy wants to blame someone for him losing out on millions by the free agency year...he can look in the mirror. He was terrible this year in MLB and in AAA.

    I'm enjoying that football is back. I have to admit, it does suck that the crew is not in it. Last year was really something. I am already looking forward to next year though. I have a feeling that Mark A. and Doug are going to go after some pitching.

    as of 08-04-2009, Gamel's last 10 games... 33AB's 2 hits 15 strikeouts. .061 avg. He is terrible right now.

    He has been brutal since going back down and had a horrible strikeout rate in the majors. Besides the obvious small sample issue, anyone concerned he might not be that cant miss prospect we think he is?

    I think the cubs will probably resign Harden. They typically have the money to keep their players, examples would be Ramirez and Dempster.

    Probably would have been a good player if he wouldnt have tried to hit a homer on every at bat weighing 165.

    Fatheads are cool but the thing that stinks about them is they arent for walls that have any texture on them. Im pretty certain that most homes have some type of texture on the drywall. I have a newer home and we have the "orange peel" texture. Cant have a fathead.

    Im sure someone will be able to fill me in on this matter... Why isnt Dillard starting? He was 10-4 with a 3.66 in AAA. He's stretched out and deserves a shot. We dont have anyone to pitch and he has been the best starter in AAA this year. What gives?

    If you enjoy getting free autographs at these events people should stop complaining about them! I know it sucks that Fielder skips out and Cameron didnt show up. Keep emailing in your complaints and calling in your complaints and they will just stop doing them altogether because it wont be worth the problems. Think about it. The same thing will probably happen with autograph friday's.
