I believe that Ned Yost is less than useless. I believe Ben Sheets will not throw another meaningfull pitch for the Brewers this season. I believe that the Brewers will lock up 3rd place in the NL Central in the near future rendering the rest of my season package useless. I believe that Ryan Braun will win the Rookie of the year award and Prince Fielder will narrowly miss the MVP award. I believe that games mismanaged by Ned Yost will cost him his job in the off-season. As a result the Brewers will hire Frank Kemblas. I believe that the Brewers will lose CoCoc, Linebrink, Cappy, and Jenkins in the off-season and be better off in the long run.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b18/blazer25/craig20newsome.jpg Greatest cover corner ever! I can't believe I had to wait this many days to post! I'm pretty sure it's my fault. I had this one dialed up in the 7th inning of the Philly game. I take full responsibility for the recent slide.

Someone should hit Matt Wise in the face....ARGH! That was the worst loss of the year. Unless we lose a 1 game playoff to the Cubs there might not be anything that can top this momentum changing loss as far as craptitude factor.

I agree. I thought it was the start of a good discussion on bullpen management. But...I'm not a mod so who knows?

I'm sure this has been brought up but any chance we can get the dates and times of the posts right? I know this was a weird glitch on EZboard but it would be nice if the date was at least right. Edit: Nevermind I think I figured it out.

I just have to say....greatest...thread...ever! I hope to add to the list soon.

Corey Hart, Prince and the bullpen have been pretty darn good for a few games now. WOW what a win! They may not make the playoffs but they sure are fun to watch for the most part.

That's an awesome site. Reports are really concise and detailed. I'd say his OFP grades are a touch high for me but overall it's a great job. Thanks for passing that on CJ.

I'd like to Aracko...I would. But I see signs of the impending doom. Our young guys are wearing down. Our main players are getting hurt. Right when the Cubs are putting on their push, our team is falling apart. Injuries to our Ace...one of our offensive "studs" sent to AAA, our manager managing like he's flipping a coin in the dugout. I love the Brewers but we're done...the signs are there. Weeks demotion is the beginning of the end. The fact that they sent him down speaks volumes to that. I can't believe BF.net is OK with his demotion.

Dude...you got me! I'm a closet Cubs fan. Seriously we're in a spin. We just sent one of our supposed cornerstone players to AAA. Our ace will not throw until September (at the earliest). We have the worst game manager in the big leagues. Our big trade acquisition just told management that he doesn't feel like coming back until the end of the week (if that). If you want to pull your Brewers sheets on your bed over your head and chant your Brewers mantra and claim "All is well!"...go ahead. But don't poop on my right to vent and pull the plug on the season mentally. I'm a realist and I've seen this before. We're headed for 3rd place and a new manager...mark it down on August 1st!
  12. Blazer25
BSCR, I agree and thus he should be put on the DL...not sent to AAA. Sending him to AAA sends a message that the Brewers don't want to send. I'm done with them for the year. 3rd place is in our sights...hello new manager!

This thread makes me disgusted at BF.net. It's OK that Rickie freaking Weeks was sent down?!? This guy is on the cover of our media guide. Obviously his struggles are injury related. Put him on the DL again...don't send him to AAA and bring up a AAAA guy! I'm pretty much done with the Brewers...I'm calling 3rd place finish and Ned is gone. Go Reds!

Nothing to see here....no reason to panic...Cubs are ONLY tie with us. Seriously silver lining guys...now is the time to panic. It's OK...you can only be optimistic for so long. The sky is actually falling. You optimists kill me.

So the day we drop out of 1st place is the day we officially migrate to Yuku...I officially hate Yuku already!!!

And now we're in 2nd place....nice work Ned.

The Taylor made R7 has an option to change the weights in the club head to make it heavier or lighter depending on your preference. You can order the weights and tool online. Best driver I've ever hit. I set it up to be draw weighted and bought slightly heavier weights. It's Awesome!

Howie's son will attend Perfect Game's national showcase over fathers day weekend in Cincinnati. He is a 2008 grad.

5 handed pick a partner with leasters is the best way to go IMO. Sheephead rules!

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but I thought those of you who appreciate prospects would get the most use out of this. Those of you in the WI area should get yourselves to a Timber Rattlers game and see their SS Carlos Truinfel. He's a Dominican kid who is the best A ball prospect I've seen in a long time. He's hitting .350 and that might be his worst tool. He's easily a 7 defender (on the 2-8 scale) right now. He runs nearly as well as Rickie Weeks and I think will show Rickie's potential for power down the line. All that and he's exactly 17 years old! Get to see him early because he might not last the whole season there.

I HATE THE WEST COAST! (Sorry for the caps but it seemed fitting)

Colby, Great job on the article Colby. As a Brewer fan I hope you're wrong on Aumont. Too much risk with him for me.

Colby, I just like to check it to see who they are currently "on". I really have noticed a difference since Allan left, especially in their prospect type stuff. Yes they provide a service. Yes they were the first in the market. The fact doesn't change that they seem to be "stuck in the mud" so to speak. IMO though their stuff has gotten stale and recycled as you said nicely. Not to mention they seem to have lost all their baseball guys and replaced them with writers. Their strength used to be their ability to get inside info, and have some idea about how scouting works. Now it reads more like articles you'd find in your local paper. And my magic powers don't extend to North Carolina...unfortunately.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
