    I couldn't care less about this game. Who cares. Lee just needs to be healthy so someone trades for him.

    If Carlos Lee just ruined his trade value, I hate him. My God, he hasn't tried on defense all season. Why now? I'm going to be sick.

    I thought Helling could have been used, but he hasn't pitched in a while, so I don't know what's up with him. Shouse also could have been used, but it's a toss-up. They really were the only two other options. Bush only lasted 3 innings last start, and will be missing a start Thursday. Why not see if he can spell the pen? I don't know for sure that I would have used Bush, but I can certainly see why Yost did. Makes sense to me.

    I'm tempted to look up how many runs the Brewers have outscored their opponents by since the all-star break, but that would make me very sad.

    Tim Allen on WSSP just guaranteed a Brewers win tomorrow... for no real reason. Kind of funny.

    Well, yes. I think Weeks and Fielder will both be better. I think they might obtain a 2/3 type pitcher, but it will have to be a young one to afford him. Also, I think Sheets will be back all next year.

    I think the team could have competed, but the chance wasn't good enough to mortgage much of the brighter future to jump at the opportunity. It's frustrating to endure another .500 season if that happens, but I think next year we'll be able as fans to set the playoffs as an attainable goal.

    So this is a knee-jerk reaction in an in-game thread, which means this though could be completely irrelevant in a week... But is Yost's job in jeopardy if they finish well out of the playoffs this year? This is an honest question.

    In person GIllespie didn't seem really tall or anything, but he looked pretty built. They have been talking at length on ESPN about all the weight training he's been doing. Semi-related note: What a comeback for the Beavers tonight! Game three tomorrow... can't wait!

    Just wondering if anyone saw the CWS final tonight. I wasn't sure where to discuss it, but anyways... Cole Gillespie had a home run and a single. His home run was to right center field. Unfortunately, Oregon St. lost in a tight game. They will have to win the next two games to win the title.
