Yeah, funny but not real. I had forgotten about that picture though--awesome. -
Pinch hitting him was potentially very dumb. He should have been DLd originally, especially since it included the All-Star Break. Now, pinch hitting him yesterday meant that it tacks on two extra games to his 15 days, since he didn't play the day before. It just seems like this won't heal without a long stint of rest.

1. Betancourt 2. McGehee (Have wanted Gamel over him for years. McGehee is no better defensively.) 3. Wolf 4. Kotsay 5. Counsell Favorites to watch would be Weeks, Fielder, Marcum, Morgan, Gomez. The CF platoon is awesome. -

I wonder about Marcum's health. His decline started exactly after his hip injury.

The bottom half of the lineup has been dreadful all season. Management needs to wake the hell up and get Green up here, and then get a shortstop. It's been obvious for months now.

5 Mil?? That's just about what he's owed the rest of the year. I doubt that's right. I asked it a few pages ago, but it probably got buried. Anyone know if the Brewers can get comp picks for him even if they buy him out? I want to say they cannot, but I'm not sure.

Best part of this: that clause will keep us from having to watch him celebrate like an idiot after a save. Edit: I can't believe he's only 29. Seems like he's been around forever.

So if the Brewers buy him out, can they still offer him arby as a Type A? Because that makes this a great move. I feel like that isn't the case, though.

What are the DBacks fans even mad about? 14 players in the NL have more homers than Upton. If this wasn't in Arizona, nobody would have even considered him.
