Just disgusting, literally and figuratively. This is the worst possible player to lose and the worst possible time to lose him.

I just assumed it was a foregone conclusion Mich St. would win, just as it is that they'll beat Butler in Indianapolis. I've accepted the fact that Tom Izzo can sleepwalk his way through an underachieving regular season and flip a switch as soon as the tournament starts. Ugh. Also, I don't really understand bragging for the Big Ten when their only semi-regular representative in the Elite Eight/Final Four is Michigan St. People don't brag about the WCC being well represented in the tournament because of Gonzaga's history or the Horizon because of Butler. They're just great individual programs.

Agreed on the Michael stuff. That crap ruins episodes for me. I loved the Stanley push-ups and Oscar relating it to the woman lifting her car to save her baby.

It's only a matter of time until Gus gets the Final Four IMO. He's established such a cult following. My favorite happens to be the UCLA-Gonzaga game, but tonight was right up there.

They certainly won't cut Parra, so he's either the fifth starter or in the bullpen. There's nothing the Brewers can say to justify putting Suppan in the rotation, yet I won't be surprised at all if that's what happens. -
The most impressive thing about that Elite 8 run was hanging with that UNC team for most of the game. They played them tough. That's (sadly) debatably Bo's best NCAA Tourney accomplishment.

I was just going to mention Hughes. Despicable showing. I think it was six turnovers, but that's not what bugs me the most--by a long shot. Did you see him "defend?" He wasn't even trying. He was lazy, and getting burned consistently. It was like he didn't even care to be out there. What a way to go out as a senior.

Leuer will be back. He might be a second rounder this year, otherwise that's what he'll be next season. He can dominate the college game (at times), but he's not quick or athletic enough to come out early. I can't really call this a great season. They wasted a very good regular season by playing their three worst games at the end of the season. The criticism of Bo's teams in the tournament is warranted.

What a way for Scottie Reynolds to go out. He was awful in the tournament.

I turned it on when they were down 7 with about 1:30 left. Still not sure how they pulled that one out. I love Ersan.

Jarmusz has been incredibly disappointing the second half of this season. As for questioning his scholarship... He was the high school player of the year! He was good defensively earlier this year--I specifically remember him single-handedly shutting down Manny Harris--but I'm really not sure what has happened. And his offensive game is nonexistant.

It seems like the Badgers play to the level of the competition, whether it's playing up or playing down to that level.

There is no excuse for being outrebounded by this team. And there is no reason they should not go inside on the post EVERY time. This is pathetic.

Great defense early on. Wofford can't do anything, and they aren't getting any offensive boards either.

I don't know. I'd be pretty shocked if they lost to Wofford. This is the best team Bo has had in years, and they have a big height advantage. Leuer should have a field day.

I said the same thing pitchleague. He hardly raised his voice. CBS needs to have Gus Johnson in a remote studio to take over for these monotones in the final two minutes of close games.
