  1. I don't believe that the prices for relievers especially rentals is going to be anywhere near as high as you think. Are we supposed to believe that the same teams that wouldn't put together blockbusters offers for Hader last offseason are going to trade their best prospects for the clearly inferior Kimbrel or any rentals such as Ian Kennedy. The easiest thing to acquire every deadline has been relievers and I expect that to be the case again.
  2. This team is too lefthanded and really needs a big righthanded hitter when we face lefties. Bryant would really be the perfect target but I don't see that happening.
  3. I would be shocked if Stearns paid the price it would take to acquire Gallo and to be honest I don't see him being a Stearns type of player regardless of cost. Could be wrong about it but I think Stearns could have had Gallo in the Lucroy deal and chose Brinson instead.
  4. Would you be ok trading Hader if he was a pending free agent over there for anything less than a blockbuster overwhelming return because I sure wouldn’t. If we helped the Indians or Rays win a championship no problem but I would want no part in helping any rival win it all and I’m sure they feel the same way.
  5. I don't think so at all and really think we need a righty bat instead of yet another lefty.
  6. Jake definitely needs to be used in higher leverage situations.
  7. Ashby has to work out his control issues before he can ever be trusted in high leverage situations at this level.
  8. Peterson has had a great year but we really need to see what we have with Rowdy before the deadline. Regardless I think we need a right handed bat for the position but why did we trade for him if he isn't going to start.
  9. Suter is the last guy thats going to get away with bad defense behind him. He wasn't good but blame the defense not Suter for that inning.
  10. Stearns will definitely be trading for one if not two relievers at the deadline.
  11. Was this team out partying with the Bucks last night because it surely looks like it.
  12. I think if Stearns makes a move for a bat it has to be a righty and maybe Braun is that guy.
  13. Have to expect a deal or two for relievers who usually come cheap and I still think we need one more legitimate right handed bat most likely for first base. With only Adames, Urias, and Garcia playing everyday we could use one more right handed hitter so we aren't susceptible against lefties.
  14. It's a numbers game once Cain is back next week, though. Sucks for Taylor, but it is what it is. Send Hiura down or Tellez for that matter.
  15. I would understand it if we had someone like Williams available but we don't. Win today and Hader can have the next two off.
