Yep. Not going to get lightning to strike a 3rd time. We had our chances. Winning today likely means nothing. Let's make sure we win Tuesday. I’m somewhat strangely at peace with the Brewers not flying to St. Louis for a division championship game. I guess if they lose the Wild Card game I’ll probably feel differently, but right now I’m on board with just getting guys healthy and ready for the Wild Card game on Tuesday. I agree. I'm not sure a game 163 would serve this team well right now.

That stretch in the middle of the season against bad teams where they couldn't win a series is going to stick out in my mind as the reason they didn't win the division. That was a disappointing stretch that couldn't be overcome by a spectacular, and equally memorable, September.
