Disappointed but not surprised.
-
We have last year too. He was hot to start the year but the reality is that he hasn't hit much for the better part of two seasons.
-
Which makes those four games the anomaly with the offense being consistent with their performance before and after that blip.
-
Which is a really good illustration of the difference between the two teams.
-
LOL, Mitchell hurt now?
-
The best argument I've seen on this site suggest that they need to get in and get "hot". They came into this stretch hot so we will see how that theory plays out.
-
His pitch recognition is horrible. No way he should be leading off on a regular basis.
-
Baseball Reference has game logs.
-
The offense is gonna have to wake up or this is going to be a long seven games.
-
Very questionable strategy there.
-
He should be upset at himself.
-
I think he's on a count.
-
That's a start
-
They lost.
-
Very true.
-
or bunt, not sure which is worse.
-
Is it a lock that he would be in a post season rotation? It shouldn't be.
-
He isn't horrifically bad and as you've pointed out he has his positives. I just don't think he is anything special with regard to baseball decisions, also as you've pointed out.
-
Especially hitting first and third. Turang just is not a lead off hitter.
-
Still early but yeah, not meeting the challenge to this point.
-
sigh.....
-
That was stupid.
-
Is this our slowest possible combination?
-
I see you Peralta, Nice first inning.

Absolutely correct. Far more personal and vitriolic posts come from those that would consider themselves positive posters with zero irony.
