  1. Maybe he's still adjusting to the move.
  2. The numbers seem to not be in line with this kids ability. Maybe we get him second time through.
  3. Well, playing from ahead didn't work out all the well yesterday so.....
  4. Frelick - Canha - Yelic - Contreras - Santana - Monesterio - Adames - Anderson - Weimer?
  5. JL - THEY DON"T WIN BF - They've won more games than 24 other teams over the last five years. JL - SO WHAT!
  6. That might be the saddest thing I've ever seen posted on this board.
  7. I have to give you credit. I have never seen anyone move the goal posts from one post to the next like you do.
  8. Just because they aren't dong what you want doesn't mean they aren't trying.
  9. I would say doubling (or better) production is a massive improvement.
  10. Oooh, careful with that loose Weimer talk.
  11. Cool, don't have to face him the next three games.
  12. Explain to me how those two are not massive upgrades over the current production at 1B and DH.
  13. Don't know what I'm missing but Canha seems like a massive upgrade to the current DH production. Heck, put Yeli at DH and stick Canha in left and you've probably upgraded both sides of the ball.
  14. Still can. Play Canha in right and DH Hiura.
  15. What are the DH stats versus Canha's stats?
  16. To be fair, you were betting their last move was their last move.
  17. All of which tells me Manzardo is overrated. Rays just don't trade elite talent for that.
  18. And that is assuming nothing changes. I also trust the Rays ability to find and develop promising arms. My guess is they think they can fix something and turn a good pitcher into a very good one at the cost of a non-elite prospect.
  19. More nervous for this series than the Braves series. Kinda thought we'd get thumped by Atlanta. Gotta show something the next few series.
  20. This lineup being an extreme example. There aren't a lot of options here. Folks get all worked up over a hot stretch by this marginal player or that marginal player but this lineup really is the epitome of duct tape and bailing wire. They just cannot string enough quality at bats together ("good" players included) to really worry about the lineup construction.
