  1. I'm not in panic mode at all really. Lol. Not even a little, because unfortunately I'm getting used to them being good enough to get to the playoffs most years, while also never attempt to make a trade to help them ACTUALLY compete with the big boys IN those said playoffs. Lol simply getting to the playoffs shouldn't be "good enough" for any true fan. Imo. It was friggin awesome the first few years, but as a fan base now, we have every right to demand more. Or is this going to be our apex?
  2. I stand by my gaslighting comment. They definitely have done that to our fan base on multiple occasions. You disagree. So be it.
  3. I completely understand. All I'm saying, is simply getting to the playoffs, without having intentions of occasionally making a meaningful move or 2 to help give them a real chance to win the title, isn't enough for me. Nor should it be, for any true fan. That would be the equivalent of spinning the tires, with no REAL chance of going anywhere. Lol
  4. I understand the philosophy, but disagree they have any intention of actually trying to win it all, which they HAVE told our fan base many times before. Lol SMDH
  5. Hopefully you're right. It better be a meaningful move though, because simply getting to the playoffs, isn't enough for me, as a fan. To me, that's called being content with being slightly above mediocre, with no REAL chance of winning it all.
  6. Simply getting to the playoffs isn't enough for me, if they have no intentions to make a move and help them over the top, to have a real chance of winning it all. Sue me. Lol
  7. My point is division titles are great, trying to stay competitive is great, but simply getting to the playoffs isn't so great, when it's apparent they have no intentions of actually making a move or 2 to help get us over the top. What's the point of getting to the playoffs, without a real chance of actually winning it all? Yeah, to me, that's being ok with mediocrity.
  8. How many "bites" are they going to take, before they actually try and finally sink their teeth in, and actually try to win it all? When? So only trying to win division titles, with no REAL intention of actually winning it all, is ok for you? Ok, I'm not ok with that though.
  9. I won't even try, because you're in denial that they have implied that, many times. I understand, you disagree. Like I said, life goes on.
  10. Sooo, you're ok with staying in mediocrity? Ok then.
  11. And like I said, they dangle that carrot, with absolutely no intentions of ACTUALLY going for it, to help get them over the top. Just like that old old State Farm commercial.
  12. I understand that. All I'm saying, is then the FO should stop acting like we're "true" contenders, and that they are REALLY going for a WS title.
  13. Sigh, I just can't believe how many Brewer fan like to conveniently forget things the organization has said several times, for several years now, since they've been winning games? Does this fan base want a WS win, or not? They don't do what's necessary to get over the top. How do we usually do when they play the Dodgers, Phillies, etc? When's the last time they won a series against them? I get it, you disagree. Oh well, life goes on.
  14. Do you even know what gaslighting is? Pretty sure you don't.
  15. They may not said those exact words, but unless you like denying reality, you know they definitely imply they're going to what's necessary to compete with the big teams, for several years mow, then never do. EVEN when they finally have a stacked farm system.
  16. In other words, be an emotionless robot? Lol SMDH
  17. Really? You just made my point. They've been a very solid, contending team, that keeps saying/implying they're going for the WS championship, but never make a trade to help get them over the top to actually contend with the big boys. Like I said, it's straight up gaslighting our fan base.
  18. Who said "only" this year? They've been dangling that "we're contenders and going for it" carrot for several years now, but never make the "big" trade to actually prove they are. C'mon now, don't act like they haven't been saying that. Keep it real.
  19. As a fan, it's WAY beyond frustrating, constantly being led to believe the organization is "going for it", then watching the team continually not actually go for it, and make a trade(s) to actually go for it. Especially with the stacked farm system we currently have. Can you say "gaslighting", because that's basically what they constantly do with our fan base. It's sort of like the old State Farm commercial, with the old guy with the fishing pole.
  20. Wouldn't surprise me. Even a little bit.
  21. Ben Sheets? Maybe a little?
  22. It reminds me of him. Pretty much the same every time he's out there.
  23. Since he's already touched that before, it also means he's still capable of throwing 97mph now, too.
  24. If they draft him in the 1st, I wouldn't be against it, just think getting a more polished legit starter is the better choice. 🤷‍♂️
  25. Define very solid. Imo, 5 walks in 5 innings isn't very "solid". Plus, he's lost velocity big-time. I.hope he's included in a trade at some point.
