    Brecht will end up a reliever because he's too wild. Hard pass on him in the 1st rd.

    The Crew has 1 of the better offenses this year. Starters are the MUCH bigger concern, than more offense.

    You're right. I meant to say before he hits free agency. Just looked, and he has 3 years of arbitration(control) left. That means it will probably take a kings ransom to aquire him.

    It would take much more than that to get Crochet in a trade. Pretty sure he doesn't hit arbitration for a couple years yet, at least.

    With all of the fake/politically biased "news" out there today(they ALL do it), who knows if it's true or not. In today's messed up world, it definitely wouldn't surprise me, though.

    Not really. The Padres just weren't willing to pay him what he was looking for, in free agency.

    100% agree about Contreras. The past few games, it seemed like he may be getting little burned out already.

    Exactly. Most fans are still dwelling on their "hatred" of Counsell, instead of acknowledging how great Murphy has been.

    Technology doesn't always make things "better". Technology can easily be corrupted/manipulated. When umpires screw up as often, and as bad as Hernandez did, MLB just needs to discipline them severely. Hernandez should have been fired years ago.
