  1. Watch them shock everyone, and make The Miz the OD closer. 😎 (In blue.....sort of)
  2. I think Megill should get the 1st chance, and if he's shaky as the closer, then maybe give Payamps a try? 🤷‍♂️
  3. Exactly. That's probably because fhe media didn't make a huge stink about it like they they did with Bauer. I actually don't remember hearing anything about off-field issues with Clevinger, so maybe the media didn't say anything about it. Wasn't Bauer sort of cleared of any wrongdoing?
  4. Imo, if they were to sign either to an early extension, it would be Quero. Although Uribe can be absolutely dominant at times, he also has stretches where he can't seem to find the strike zone to save his soul. Until he starts being much more consistent on the mound, Uribe is a hard pass for me.
  5. Uribe isn't very young? He's only 23. Not sure how that's considered old. I WISH I was still 23. 🤣
  6. Are you trying to stoke the fire? If so, stop. And no, it was on 1 occasion. Why do I feel like I'm being thought of as the only person in that fiasco that did wrong? That wouldn't be even remotely true. I was accused of derailing the thread. The only thing I derailed, was some people's opinions. Have a nice night.
  7. In retrospect, this whole fiasco shouldn't surprise anyone really, because in today's messed up world, some people seem to spend each day just ACHING to find something to hate someone over. No matter how miniscule it is, or how little it actually affects them personally.
  8. I understand. Though, I think hating someone for simply exercising their right to change their mind, is also odd. There's definitely things to hate people over, but imo, them changing their mind isn't 1 of them. Hating someone for changing their mind, isn't that basically the hater telling Counsell how he should've felt in Milwaukee?
  9. So obviously I'm the only fan on this forum that has absolutely NO right to defend their opinions. So just because someone on here is a moderator, that means their opinions can NEVER be challenged ay? Apparently this is a very clicky forum fan site now. No problem. I'm more than willing to leave then. And no, I'm not expecting anyone here to care. Way too many massive egos on here just because of a title. SMDH PEACE OUT!
  10. Who's to say Murphy won't end up being even better than Counsell?
  11. I was wondering how long it would be before someone would think this, and ask. Lol NO! I'm not. I always said I thought Counsell was a "yes man" manager. Personally, I think he just got sick and tired of being that, and was beyond frustrated with the front office being penny and prospect pinchers when it came to getting that extra player or 2 to help put them over the top, during the couple years they had legitimate chances to have deep playoff runs. I also have a strong feeling that there was animosity brewing between the front office, Stearns, and Counsell for at least a couple years. Hence, why both ended up leaving.
  12. NOW you use the term "upset", when before, it was HATE! Lol just let it go man.
  13. It's a forum. Differences in opinion are inevitable. Simple solution. Scroll past their comments.
  14. I'm done with this discussion.
  15. Just for your information, Counsell doesn't care that you're upset about it, and hate him for it.
  16. SMH, of course it is, but, there's a big difference with being upset, and hating someone. Lol. He exercised his right to change his mind, and went to the Cubs. People REALLY need to grow up and get over it, because their lives WILL continue to go on. SMDH
  17. I agree to disagree, because if those people truly understand he can change his mind, then they wouldn't hate him or feel spurned for him doing so. Newsflash, that's the hypocritical thing to do.
  18. What he said when he first came to Milwaukee doesn't matter. Things change. He's a human being, who's allowed to change his mind and go somewhere else.
  19. By many of their comments, it seems like some of them hate him so much, that if they saw him on the side of the road, on fire, they wouldn't stop even to pee on him to put the the fire out. 🤣
  20. Like Ron Robinson mentioned, then by your logic, you should hate every Brewer player that chooses to leave Milwaukee, and take the $$, and go to a division rival. VERY few people seem to have a problem when that happens though. Why should managers be held to a different standard?
  21. Like I said earlier, I already told them I agree to disagree. Have a nice day.
  22. Another great point! Thank you!
  23. BINGO! And that would definitely not be something to hate Counsell for doing. Some people just love to hate people when someone doesn't do what they think they should've done. SMDH
  24. So I'm always supposed to let everyone else have the last word in a debate, when a few comments earlier, I said I'd agree to disagree, and they just keep on responding? Yeah, I'll get RIGHT on that.
  25. Exactly. Plus, for all any of us know, maybe Murphy will end up being an even better head coach than Counsell was.
