  1. If memory serves, the lots do not open until 2.5-3 hours before the game. If you use the restroom before, and have to go again before game time, you either have a drinking problem or a very small bladder. I always drink a lot of water, and today I was at the office from 9:30-4...I went at lunch and again at 3ish.
  2. They write music that appeals to the masses That's why they can a living at it. I'd surely much rather be popular and able to support myself doing it than the alternative.
  3. Why would they add more portajohns? There are dozens of restrooms in the park.
  4. Has N-back ever been called a Christian rock band? Many feel Creed is, just unannounced due to the popular death of Jesus pop.
  5. I certainly do not dislike any of their stuff. I agree with the above, worrying about music dislike seems rather high on the ol' list here. I have always enjoyed Bon Jovi, and I think N-back might well compare to BJ's early stuff. They're laughing all the way to the bank, that's for sure.
  6. I guess I am wondering who could "describe" the October one for me, because as far as I can see, it's more of a Miller Park T-shirt, no mention of the site. Also, I would assume MP is part of MLB, which you would need permission to use. Is it a drawing of a similar ballpark?
  7. I thought there was some sort of exception I had not heard about, as when you clicked the link, I got nothing. I think so much was put on, no one bothered to click it.
  8. Just wondering why the BP standings are allowed while no other pay content is.
  9. Only about half the team would have been on the roster on Opening Day.
  10. Yeah, you really can't complain unless you cannot buy your parking in advance by phone or internet, and I'm pretty sure you can.
  11. I would assume the Opening Day thing is to try and get people to carpool and not to park there and not go to the game. The rest is supply and demand, and more cash for the parking and Brewers, I'm sure.
  12. lose a few customers on opening day The game and the parking lot will both be sold out...how will they lose customers? And the drunks who take a parking space from someone attending the game can sit home and drive their neighbors crazy with their drinking issues.
  13. Reed, I'm not sure how many pitchers you think you have room for, as they already have 15-17 legit arms, before injuries. I'd add Riske to the list of who they signed as well. He came for much less than Livian Hernandez, who has been on a steady decline for half-a-decade.
  14. I went to the last opener at County and the first at Miller. I'll let others enjoy these, it's just 1 of 81.
  15. Spring Madness is 5/9-12. They will be out before next Saturday.
  16. That's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, do the same thing over and over. While possibly unethical, it's not "wrong" or "shady" unless he says something like "guaranteed unopened".
  17. Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, the team will allow fans to enter an online lottery for the right to buy tickets to the big game. The lottery sign-up period will end at noon, Feb. 14, with the winners being notified Feb. 18.--JS
  18. Most players peak at 27 or thereabouts...I have little doubt either could hit 60. Will they? I'd probably say Prince is more likely, as he's already hit 50, but with that quick swing of Braun's and his 45 HR pace as a rookie, he's right behind him.
  19. There are a few no haggle dealers, but very few. Some went to it years ago when Saturn had success, but many customers love to bargain, so they lost that segment.
  20. No, Saturn does not negotiate. However, if you have a trade-in, supposedly there is a bit of wiggle room.
  21. Saturn's price is on the sticker. No bickering.
  22. Our CC is named Yo, and any others will come from the same place; good drafting, scouting and development.
  23. Yeah, the $80K is wrong, to say the least. Guys on the 40 make decent money, and as BC said, the top minor league FA's get paid ok, but most make $2150-4K a month, and that's just for the season. BC, could you comment on insurance? I believe I have read some guys with families take a minimal offer just to be covered for the entire offseason, rather than seek out the highest bid.
  24. Strictly because of his size, Inman projects as a reliever. Some guys manage to beat the stereotype, but there's a reason it exists.
  25. Doug said he'd like to get Joe 300 AB's, but that's unlikely. I'd say his spot is all but cemented.
