  1. Knebel is pitching for LA. I thought he was done for the year.
  2. Well, you know the old saying: You can’t let Joneshwy Fargas beat you.
  3. They will do everything they can to finish this. I don’t know how hard it is to schedule and play a day game after they cancel a night game, but it’s gotta be a lot of work.
  4. They’ve won about 65 percent of the games he’s been a Brewer, so that would be a bad indicator.
  5. Sutcliffe won the Cy Young in 84 after being traded from Cleveland. He went 16-2 with the Cubs.
  6. No kidding. What was that about? Freddy made a good 2-2 pitch that missed but he thought it was good. Well, he was a Cardinal for about 7 years.
  7. Anyone need three for 1:20? I’ll make a real good deal! I was supposed to go tonight, but gave them to my son because I got COVID, now he has to work tomorrow. I have three in Section 204, row 7.
  8. I don’t know what Coach Cooper you’re referring to, but scoreboard watching is fun and harmless for fans. With access to all games on something like mlb tv, it’s fun to pay attention to games other than Brewer games either because they affect the Brewers standing or players on our fantasy teams. [sarcasm]Coach Cooper is like Chuck Norris if Chuck does a 360 spinning leg kick he would reverse the rotation of the Earth, which is why Chuck Norris is not allowed to do a 360 spinning leg kick it is a fact look it up the internet said so.[/sarcasm] If Coach Cooper was a Cardinal fan, the BFIB would kick him out for being too intense about the unwritten rules.
  9. That homer by Zimmer went a long, long way. Absolutely crushed dead center. Amazing.
  10. Finally, we get bullpen help from some old-timers who have been Brewers since...(checks notes)...June? Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled they are coming back, but it's funny how two guys who weren't even on the team two full months ago, are seen as the cavalry. Shows how loooong the last week has been.
  11. Cain looks like he's about 60 when he's just standing holding a bat too. That does not look like Cain to me. Aren't his hands usually a lot higher than that?
  12. Coach Cooper would hate this thread. Bunch of scoreboard watchers.
  13. This is a game thread. Start a separate Yelich contract thread. It has nothing to do with this game.
  14. So if they don’t get hits they’re not trying hard? Saying a professional athlete has “mail it in” days is an awful take. They’re at this level for a reason and playing for potentially millions on their next contracts. Guys who have mail it in days aren’t in the league long if ever. Sorry that I offended you on behalf of the Brewers. I made an observation after a nine-pitch inning. It’s not sworn testimony, but a comment in an IGT.
  15. “I should have said that, instead of all the words I did.” Nice moment of self-reflection from Dillard, who just needs to SHUT UP.
