Didn't you type this: But if someone else had blown the game late like that I would be feeling more like "Well what can you do, they all stink," rather than "Hader blew it and I saw it coming."
Why would you be surprised? There have been so many times people declared this team dead. Not sure why people can't just enjoy the ride. Yeah, the "I think they are bad, and will lose big, but will be happy to be wrong" predictions are just annoying. I agree with you. This team has been put on the mat so many times, and has managed to get to its feet every time. Nothing they do would really surprise me anymore. Also agree. So many Smartest Guys in the Room here. I just want the Brewers to win. I'm in LA, and there is a lot of the same type of gloom and doom about losing in the playoffs here as well.
On Sunday, when David Bote's 9th inning home run (with Nico Hoerner on base) off Martinez bounces off of Bader's glove and over the wall, and David Phelps nails down the save, handing the division to the Brewers, it will all be worth it.
Friend of mine listening to the game in Cincy said that Uecker has been in the booth with Brennaman, and when the two guys said goodbye to each other, it got pretty dusty where he was.

Coach Cooper would be beside himself in this situation. The mere threat of his ire caused this to never happen on his watch, not ever...His boys knew better. Coach Cooper always said if you were gonna walk a guy, might as well hit him instead. Make him think about it.

Right now the Brewers must have at least a 1/4-1/3 chance of getting to a tiebreaker on Monday. If the Brewers win 3/4 remaining games after tonight, the Cards would need 2/3 to avoid a tiebreak. That's not all that unlikely of a scenario. 3 out of 4? Why are you so negative?

Yeah, that is concerning. Not a fan if they are just pulling him due to pitch count. Gotta stretch him out a little more than this. Do you think they just don't want him to swing a bat yet?
