  1. Good pick up. We will probably see a lot of Fields this season.
  2. I’m gonna miss not seeing Clay in a Packers uniform. I was hoping he could come back and be a guy who comes in on third down and goes all out. Definitely couldn’t bring him back at what the Rams offered him though to play mostly on third down. Thank you Clay and best of luck!
  3. Awesome move by the Jays. I think a lot of teams are going to quickly follow suit.
  4. Bucks have waived Christian Wood and signed Tim Frazier. I think Wood is going to be a good player in this league and I am very disappointed that he was waived. I understand the need for adding a guard since they have so many injuries, but I think this one will come back to bite them down the road.
  5. Another terrible game for Middleton today. Really getting tired of watching him dribble around for 8 seconds and then pulling up for a bad shot. Or holding the ball for 5 seconds and then chucking up a random shot completely out of rhythm. Shots like that just don’t go in very often. He really does not fit the offense Bud has implemented. Middleton tries to do too much way too often and leads to a lot of empty possessions on the offensive end. I’m really hoping/looking forward to him being gone after this season.
  6. Honestly I find it very entertaining when managers get ejected. I like seeing managers that are passionate about the game and having a guy in charge that cares about winning and standing up for his guys when umpires screw up. Players like that too.
  7. https://apnews.com/cbe6c73dcf594854ae27b0705f4d7393 Pretty good article with Braun talking about his swing change. In the article, he said that the ball is traveling further now than it has in a long time, possibly ever. I think Braun will really surprise people this season and put up numbers similar to his 2016 season. Hopefully he can stay healthy all season and play around 130 games.
  8. This is truly perfect!
  9. +1 Not a single other person has agreed with his point about Middleton being overweight. His struggles the last couple games have nothing to do with his weight. I truly can’t see how you think he is out of shape when he’s been playing basketball for multiple hours everyday for at least 5 months straight to this point. I can’t believe that you think people that carry a little extra weight are just fat and out of shape. A guy that is 6’10 and weighs 235 and a guy that’s 6’10 and weighs 250 can be equally as effective basketball players and have the same stamina.
  10. Beckham has some antics, but playing on a winning team and having a Hall of Fame quarterback that will get him the ball plenty would do wonders for a guy that’s as competitive as he is. I would love to add Beckham if possible. He is only 26 years old and still has a lot of great football ahead of him.
  11. Absolutely, Bucks were playing from behind from the start. They were missing key guys and still almost pulled out a win against a good team.
  12. Perez is sure playing well so far this spring. It’s good to see him really driving the ball since he had the wrist issue last season.
  13. 1. Bucks 2. Brewers 3. Packers The Bucks have one of the top players in the game that gets better and better each year. They have a strong supporting cast that fits nicely around Giannis and his game. The Bucks have a legit shot at it this season. Brewers have a ton of talent with the best GM in baseball. Stearns truly is a perfect model of how to build a contender with a small market team while keeping the pipeline intact to sustain an extended window of winning baseball. The team he has put together could really do something special this season. Packers are a couple years away from being legit Super Bowl contenders again in my opinion. They need to hit on a couple young guys in this draft and give them a year to get acclimated to the NFL game and learn assignments. I think there will be another season of growing pains, but 2020 could be the year they get back to the top of their game. But by then, hopefully the Bucks or Brewers have already won a championship. It is a great time to be a Wisconsin sports fan.
  14. Dang, I had high hopes for him to be a big time contributor this season...
  15. Also looks like the 4th option can only be used during the year that they received the 4th option and that it can’t be carried over to the next season. Good to know, thanks!
  16. Absolutely crushed. Had to be about 450+.
  17. Is it just me or does Thames look bigger/more muscular than in the past? Dude is jacked.
  18. Legalizing prostitution would cause a lot more issues for people that are involved in sex trafficking that don’t want to be. I’m not going to get into detail on this topic, but legalizing prostitution would cause a lot more harm than anything.
  19. I like it from the Brewers’ perspective. I don’t think he will have another year like he did last season. He was a good story for them last season and did better than anyone could imagine when they first signed him. A lot of money for one great year.... I’ll be interested in seeing how he does this season.
  20. I think this is actually a pretty good deal all around. 8 years takes him through his age 35 season, which isn’t too bad for the Rockies. He’s won a gold glove every year since he’s been in the majors and is a lock to hit .300 with 35 homeruns. In my opinion, Arenado is a better player than Harper and Machado and is a much safer bet than either of those two. This deal is not an extension after the 2019 season. The new contract goes into effect this season and will override his $26 million contract for this season.
  21. I just couldn’t get myself to put Rickie in there. When I think of him, I always think back to him striking out swinging at sliders down and away in the dirt. Seems like he was good for at least one of those a game. Had pretty good power, but wow was he frustrating to watch. His defense left something to be desired as well.
  22. It looked like a tip to me. It was on and off his hand so quick, I don’t see how it could be a shot clock violation in any way. Giannis and Lopez tipped the ball pretty much identically. From when the ball first touches Lopez’s hand to when it is just off of his hand, there’s no way he maintained contact with the ball long enough for the violation.
  23. Love the fit for the Twins. Twins will be a team to keep an eye on this season. 2/$21 million is a pretty good deal for the Twins.
  24. Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been arrested and is being charged with soliciting prostitution in Florida. The investigation has reportedly taken around one month before the arrest.
  25. I think we can all agree that second base has been pretty barren for the Crew in their history. Good thing our top prospect is a second baseman so he can take over the top spot a few years from now.
