I’m with you. I figured he’s saving his bullets on the bench, but who knows. CC is the mad scientist. Hader is at 27 pitches. I have to think he'll be out. Still, odd to let him bat there. Are they really gonna need Schoop and Granderson later in the game? -
Just threw one heck of a slider to get Muncy.
-
Buck makes it sound like the Brewers pen goes downhill after Hader. Apparently Burnes, Knebel, Soria and Jeffress are junk.
-
Just needed to get ramped up. Really no need for alarm.
-
I just saw 97. He wasn't hitting 99 last inning.

Ron Robinsons Beard replied to Jose Cardenal1's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
Don't get me wrong. I love Hiura's potential as a top of the order bat. I just don't see a guy that hit .272 in AA as a guy that is going to come up next year and make a huge immediate impact. His profile as a high contact table setter fits the profile for what this team needs to make it a truly elite level lineup. If he can come up to the MLB level and hit .300, I'll gladly eat my words. I just don't see it happening ... yet. -
They scored 84 in the first half, so it was something we missed..... .a little at least What are the Bucks?
-
I love Hader in the pen. LOVE HIM. I'm not going to lie and say the idea of him as a starter doesn't intrigue me. He could literally be our version of Kershaw (well, not tonight's Kershaw ... the good one).
-
9 pitches. I'm ok with him going two
-
Well, looks like Hader is fired up. Right now it's to the point where if this team has a lead after three innings, I feel pretty confident.
-
I agree. Dodgers can make it close again in a hurry. Too many heavy hitters for any lead to really be safe.
-
Hader, Guerra, Knebel, Jeffress?
-
He and Brad Miller get a box of Crackerjack with the special Decoder Ring at the bottom.
-
It was a great throw. Machado doesn't have Baez's tagging ability though
-
Lets score a few more here, and sit Hader down for tomorrow.
-
They knocked the heck out of Kershaw tonight! Hang onto your hats guys, they team is gonna finally be getting some national pub.
-
He proved me wrong! Atta boy Domingo!!!
-
OK, Domingo ... prove me wrong!
-
Who needs Machado? We have Orlando!

I understand, but man he's pitching great, he hit a home run last innning. What more can Woodruff do. I suppose come back to pitch Monday

I know the lefty-lefty matchup does not favor Woodruff, but I think I might let him swing it this inning.
-
While the Brewers August rotation numbers were some of the worst in baseball to boot. That is a mystery that will never be solved.

Can we get a bonus out for hitter's interference? He hit Pina in the side of the head, and just turned around and walked away. No concern at all. Prick.
