Isn’t the outing the most consistent in terms of mid 90’s velocity sense surgery.
When he looked on the verge a couple season ago he was throwing high 90’s. So he could get away with some BB. And occasional bad location.
Hopefully this is a start of turnaround and gets him in Milwaukee pen in August/September.
I’m thinking of the contenders. Milwaukee would most likely would be low on Max’s list. Better chance at another ship with LA, Philly, NYY, Baltimore, etc.
Jacob doesn’t throw enough strikes to be effective yet. He has a hard time getting through 3 inngs at AA. So calling him up would most likely go worse than Abner.
His kink is to choke a lover unconscious and then punch them in the back of the head. Then continue with other sexual stuff. Even if it’s consensual. It’s a PR nightmare for any owner. Take a deep breath and look at it from sponsors and fans with young daughters. It’s just a hard pass for them. The game is about entertainment and his face would be front and center. Bauer would have the same problem trying to get a job in any entertainment field where he’d be visible.
Considering nobody at AAA looks the part. He may get a shot this summer. I just don’t see DL Hall sticking in the rotation at least this year. Hopefully Tyler stays consistent and gets called up.
Lorenzen are similar pitchers correct. But he doesn’t have the baggage. He’s probably preferred over him. So until Lorenzen signs Clevinger is in limbo. Maybe ?
What does this mean for Montgomery and his market. You’d almost have to assume he waits out the comp pick. And even then going to be hard to get to 25 million AVV.
Or he’s a clubhouse cancer. And his talent doesn’t outweigh his attitude? No clue. You’d think if he would accept a one year deal. The Yanks would swoop in already.
Isn’t Clevinger more of a fly ball pitcher now. Obviously Montgermy is preferred. But Lorenzern is probably that better fit. Even if it costs two yrs. Assuming the two yrs are below 10 million a piece.
Well if you’re going over the tax threshold for him isn’t it closer to 40 million per year. That reduces the number of teams that can bid for him even more. If correct of course.
