    My old roommate at Madison was from Ohio, and he would always tell me how fun Tennessee was. But there is nothing like SoCal. The women, the food, the beaches... STUPID PARENTS! Of course, if I lived there, I'd have probably been a Spoiled Child at the local U (USC), and then what would I be? Oh yeah...married to a 6' blonde! Again, STUPID PARENTS!

    If the Cubs can beat on the Dodgers, why can't we? Here's hoping that Daron finds his taco stand and we sweep tomorrow.

    I feel bad for Mark A. He was at the game yesterday, and got rewarded with a blown lead and no Hoffman appearance. At least he's with his team in spirit. Maybe one of those other "$10million+ deals" took precedent. Anyway, Lee is quickly making his own case for POG. Though, thus far, I still say it goes to Dougie.

    If you want even MORE local cuisine, try a calimari taco. I'm not a really big fan, but they are good on occasion, especially when mixed in with a few fish tacos. But again, don't forget the avocado.

    I would go with what I call a fish taco in Wisconsin (which is more appropriate for the Skinemax crowd) but I was born in Long Beach. A fish taco is usually fried (sometimes grilled) fish as the meat. They are SOOO good, and don't really require any other condiments but lettuce and avocado.

    Davis, fighting through 7, continuing the dominance. More than likely, the top candidate for a trade will be Spivey and/or a pitcher. Hopefully, it's not Dougie.

    I REALLY like this lineup tonight. Why this isn't our usual EVERYDAY lineup (maybe sub. Cirillo in a platoon) is beyond me! Mike Hunt has an article tonight that advocates the continued use of Spivey since it only showcases his talents for a trade and, if you don't play him, you would have an even harder time trading him, but this team is really clicking tonight and my gut tells me it's for real. And JJ continues to walk!

    O!!! K... Well Davis still looking for the CG. If he does go for the CG and not give up another run, he gets my vote for POG. I hope this is a harbinger and not the aberration these offensive outputs have come to be called.

    The REVISED list... 1. Geoff (And I'm proud to finally see him here!) 2. Carlos (The SB did it for me) 3. Doug Davis (The hit...enough said) 4. Lowly Brady (The GIDP looks like an aberration...but in tonight's game, it doesn't look good. He erased himself AND #3!)

    DD gives EVERYONE a hit. Lawrence doesn't deserve to be called a Padre pitcher...much like the Glover situation with us last night. But that's for a different thread.

    And if that was an error, it would be unearned. Sorry for feeling for DD but Hall just didn't play it well and should be squarely to blame. Anyway, all this means is that, right now, we're set to see Turbo...first time in awhile.
