    I like the Wes Helms start. But I totally disagree with not starting Cirillo! The guy pounds lefties, and this is a lefty who needs to get pounded. And if Bill Hall makes a costly error, I might be a little upset. Of course, I won't be as upset as yesterday after the Spivey error. I usually have no problem at all moving on, but that error haunts me. Sheets just DEALT last night! He gives up two hits, and he takes the loss. But today is a new day, and we have quite the bench today. Here's hoping we don't have to tap it.

    Do any of you guys remember Daron saying "Now let's get us some runs!" during the game? Maybe it's me but he just wasn't the usual Daron. But it's over. Perhaps he didn't want Ben to get the run support needed. :-)

    Does Bill KNOW what he's talking about? "It's not a rhetorical question, ARE YOU ********?"-My Boss' Daughter But seriously, the play of the game was Spivey's error, which allowed Ensburg to homer, which is why he was player of the game. But the PLAY of the game was Everett's HR to put an end to the rally. ANYWAY...yeah. Bad night for the fans at the game. Glad I wasn't there to share in the defeat.

    Well...tomorrow brings Capuano, and hopefully No Spivey/Moeller. Truthfully, I would rather see Moeller tomorrow than Spivey! But you have to feel for Ben in this game. We'll chalk this up to charity and get them tomorrow.

    If Spivey hits another HR, it would go a long way for atoning for his error, though his error gave up 3 UNearned runs. He'd still have only produced 2 with a K while the bases were loaded...but it would go a long way.

    How is it that, of our three relievers used this game, only Phelps doesn't allow a run? NOW I can't nag for a week, considering Jorge is my guy. Also, if this were his first game, he'd have an ERA of 81.00! His ERA went up over 1.5 from this game!

    Well our heroes are up next inning. I hope Ned leaves Hardy in, moves Hall over, and takes out Junior. Double switch and pinch hit the pitcher, giving you a better option when the spot comes up.

    Why does Daron call for Qualls to have some "Redemption"? Why not say, "We pounded him last night so you know we can hit him tonight!"

    Two ATROCIOUS innings... I keep asking myself, "Did that last inning REALLY happen?" I began by watching Big Ben just dominate their lineup...only to see THAT INNING! And as for Jorge, he has a KILLER curve, but I don't remember seeing it. It's hindsight but...*** Jorge! And Wise...that was just too bad. Now let's see us get some runs. Right now, my objective is to see Lidge. But if we DO see Lidge, I expect us to pound him!!! Put on some late inning heroics for that Memorial Day weekend crowd. You know you have it in you, Brew Crew. YOU CAN DO IT!

    FINALLY!!! The nightmare inning is over... But do we have the cajones to "git 'r done" and fight our way back into it? OH YEAH!!!
