  1. Most MLB players make an out over 75% of the time.
  2. I think this is an accurate and reasonable take on the Brewers offense this year. Also in contrast to the negative posters who repeatedly complain about the offense.
  3. The Cubs and Orioles are middle in the pack at runs allowed per game (20th and 16th respectively). Pirates and Reds are at or near the bottom. We could do this for every team but you’ll just come up with excuses for why the Brewers don’t belong there but the other teams do.
  4. I’m sorry, I didn’t realize other teams remove the scrub teams when calculating runs per game.
  5. The Brewers have scored the 6th most runs per game in MLB.
  6. Last two years they only played 5 games each with a noon start. Don’t know if any of those were flexed to a later start though. In 2019 it looks like they played 7 noon games.
  7. I didn’t get to watch much of the game since I’m in the Dells this weekend and the bit I did get to see was on my phone. Of what I saw, the officiating looked atrocious and I guess that backs it up. Would others agree or did I just happen to see the crappy calls?
  8. 3rd best in the majors with the Yankees also being +49 like the Dodgers. Reds are an incredible 13.5 games out of first place in the central after only 24 games.
  9. I don’t care if teams have good or bad draft grades. I’ll read some of them to get additional opinions of the draft but I’m happy with who the Packers picked and feel like they got some good players at positions of need - won’t know if it was a good draft for a few years. I hope the Vikings, Bears, Lions and every other team in the NFL all have terrible drafts as I want the Packers to be better but I’m not going to pretend to know much about how those players will fit in schematically for other teams. My question to you came about because of your statement “The Bears did a lot to improve their team with scheme fits. So did the Lions, Vikings, Rams, Patriots, etc.” that was then followed up with this statement “It is even more fruitless when you have a new GM, HC and offensive/defensive scheme and you have no idea who is on that roster, what that scheme is going to be (zero tape) and how these players fit with those schemes.”
  10. So, how do you know the Bears (or Vikings, etc) had a good draft when it comes to players that will fit their scheme?
  11. Is pick 74 the latest the 2nd QB has been drafted?
  12. Adams did have issues with drops in his first year as a Packer.
  13. What would we need to package with #59 to move up into the late 30’s/early 40’s?
  14. Pickens or Watson at 28 if they are there?
  15. What are some good mock drafts to look at? My buddy talked me into doing a Draft pool and I’m not against using some other experts to help me do it.
  16. Who was in charge of the team when Taylor got those 271 PA’s last year? Same guys who are pulling the strings this year and have been extremely successful with running our team for years with platoons and lineup changes - things specifically aimed at setting players up to succeed. I highly doubt they are basing anything off of only 24 plate appearances and think that Taylor is crap. Brewers have a struggling offense across the board right now and it would be impossible for them to replace all of the “failing spots” at once.
  17. Now I’m just confused as to what you are even arguing in this post? Both management and player wanted to pitch but they determined he wasn’t recovered enough AND they had a quality option in Lauer (obviously not as good as Burnes but still damn good last year) who was 100% ready to go.
  18. Looks like it… and also looks like he was honest with the team about his recovery and they made the decision to go with somebody 100%.
  19. Looks like it didn’t go down the way you remember it: Link
  20. Then the pitchers need to adjust on the velocity/max effort for pitches so their recovery time is more in line with the allotted time from the pitch clock.
  21. Kamari McGee transferring from UWGB to UW. Link
  22. He actually committed to Oakland University. Bowman to Oakland University
  23. Pretty much how I feel about them every year…
  24. Do you notice the sponsor’s logo on NBA uniforms?
  25. just "yikes" is sufficient. no need to exclude other gender identities. I can't tell if you are serious or not. But "Bro" is gender nuetral. It's used for male, female, whatever, even animals... If it has a pulse, it can be a "bro." FYI I believe dj is being 100% serious and I agree with them on it. Just because you consider “bro” to be gender neutral, doesn’t mean everybody does and it doesn’t change the meaning of we choose to be inclusive with the button (having yikes instead of yikes bro).
