Love his stuff. He would be a really nice 3rd/4th in the rotation and come playoffs a nice 2-3 inning guy. 2 years 15mil seems about right but would love to see the Crew throw a 1 year 7 mil with a 2 mil buyout for year 2. Side note, boards have gotten a little quiet lately. Good to see folks still hanging around. -

Anybody got a particular starting pitcher they like as a bounce back candidate that can be had on a vet minimum type of deal? Lyles, Miley and even Anderson worked well last few years. Although Anderson wasn’t a minimum he was certainly an under the radar move. -
Would love to see the Brewers non tender Knebel and Arcia and hope Cain opts out again. If you could get adequate value for Hader that would clear up quite a bit of space in the budget.

Would love to see the Brewers get involved with a guy like Chris Taylor. Has 1 year left on his deal and is a super utility guy. Side note, I’m beginning to get the sad despair that the Brewers will never win a World Series in my life.

Ken Rosenthal is reporting Brewers have interest in Moustakas and Outfielder prospect Brett Phillips is being discussed for return.

I think this is the wrong train of thought. We’ve been thinking all offseason some big move is coming but I think it’s time to just come to the conclusion that Stearns has literally been saying we’re done for a month now. I know that it’s conceived as GM talk but at this point it just sounds like honesty. I too, expect the Brewers biggest moves are behind them and will go to opening day as is. Time to move on and prepare for Opening day, rotation looks average so hopefully offense is improved adding a couple seasoned hitters.

Agreed. Otherwise you’re counting on Nelson returning to form and doing so early while also getting good production out of Suter, Woodruff, Gallardo or Miley. Just don’t see that happening. Plus Anderson and Davies need to have near repeats of last year.

If Cobb or another piece isn’t added this feels like a job half done. The rotation looks bad in comparison with any other NL contender.

Then you won't be posting here. Listen...everyone: There are two mods here with connections to the Brewers. Legit connections. Both of their sources have told us that HH has no insider info. You are welcome to do with that news what you want but we have kept it under wraps for a while because posting rumors isn't really against board rules. But this has become a circus and a lot of time and effort is made cleaning up the board after an HH rumor is posted. And given what we have heard we asked him to stop doing so. He is free to post here about baseball but we asked him to stop posting rumors. Obviously based on the post above he has chosen not to listen. Now if Cobb signs for 3/42 we will look pretty foolish but that's ok. Edit: but based on what will end up being HH's final post here, it looks like we don't have to worry about looking foolish This probably all could have been avoided if we would have been told this. I understand it’s good for the site traffic but the horribleness of people has really come out after this. Why allow someone whom you know to be lying and a false prophet of sorts to get people arguing? In the future it would be appreciated if you could dispell this.
