  1. It's like you almost have to try to miss the layups that haven't gone down tonight.
  2. It's hard to coach Middleton into making his shots. He can't disappear like he's done tonight.
  3. It's like they can't get out of their own heads. Meanwhile the Nets gain more and more confidence. Disaster.
  4. Atrocious shooting. Sigh.
  5. On replay I thought it looked pretty clear when they froze the image that there was contact first initiated with 0.1 still shown on the clock. You're right, I must have been looking down on the initial replay but they just showed it again and it's clear.
  6. It looked simultaneous to me, I suppose that benefit goes to the guy with the ball, unless the foul was before Durant hit his arm. It was so bang bang in real time I could understand the ref not calling the foul and just waiving off the shot.
  7. The foul happened at 0.1 therefore the clock stops on the foul and the basket counts. I didn't hear the explanation when I posted that, I still think they got a break on that honestly.
  8. I don't know how that makes sense but ok I guess.
  9. Lopez is just so slow. This would be a break if the foul happened before the buzzer.
  10. Bucks haven't played in nearly a week I was expecting a little something, rust, nerves what-have-you going into tonight. Close game on the road playing from the front isn't the worst I could imagine.
  11. I'm more than happy not risking another ace pitcher of ours getting injured doing what pitchers aren't paid to do.
  12. I can't be the only one that remembers him taste testing different brands of dog food on Late Nite with David Letterman.
  13. I don't think the Brewers have handed them a truly crushing defeat yet, all the big clashes have gone their way. A big reason why I dislike them so much, at least as much as the Cubs if not slightly more.
  14. There's something to be said about an infectious personality showing up in a down on their luck clubhouse and raising spirits just enough to give them a boost of optimism. Regardless of Adames' production with his bat he likely had just as much impact emotionally (psychologically?). Not to mention it had to feel good from a player standpoint to see the front office making a major move early in the season to help out, showing they're still invested in winning right now despite their struggles.
  15. I mean, no? 7 years in New Orleans AD made it beyond the first round once. Injured LeBron couldn't quite carry the Lakers past the #2 seed in the West. And the LeBron Lakers didn't make the playoffs before AD showed up. So both guys needed complimentary superstars to help carry the load.
  16. LeBron complained real hard last year when Giannis won his 2nd MVP, lot's of LA fans cried that LeBron should have been MVP and all along I felt if anyone on the Lakers should be MVP it should be AD over LeBron. Doesn't this kind of prove that? I'm not sure the Lakers would have won this series if the injury had hit LeBron instead of AD but it would have been REALLY interesting to find out.
  17. Thanks, I forgot it is a team option. Yah, I am guessing he is gone regardless. We are on the hook for $2mil regardless, basically. It's a team option which becomes a mutual option based on PAs in 2020-2021, which it looks likely he'll reach. Again though, while I suppose it's possible he comes close but misses the PA threshold needed to gain his option it's more likely the Brewers do not pick up his option in that scenario unless he goes bonkers numbers wise. If he does that I'd rather just have him healthy and getting his plate appearances and helping the team. If the Brewers don't think they're going to make the playoffs they could try to flip him at the deadline or they just benefit from his play.
