  1. To me it looks like the starting pitching gave up more runs than the relief pitching and the offense scored 1 run. Mariano Rivera could have pitched an inning and they'd have still lost.
  2. We really need to get that guy a bucket of KFC and some rum, stat. Hopefully everyone knows this reference, otherwise it could be taken very badly. Yikes that other viewpoint never crossed my mind. Certainly not intended that way.

  4. That's is what happened yesterday on ESPN with Kenny Maynes. There was a lot of typical side talk when Rodgers did address it, but pretty easy to read between the lines. No insight into how to resolve the issue or what has transpired during their discussions though. Divalicious knows that vocalizing his issue in specific terms will make him look like...Divalicious. The problem with that is it doesn't matter, he looks like a diva either way. The thing is I think Rodgers has a very relatable reason for feeling the way he feels. He's just so deep into his vendettas and I told you so's and verbal digs that he just loses me. He's a smart guy, I think he's a little too into how smart he is. Call it pompous, call it hubris, whatever it is it's very off-putting. I’m also kind of worried that the Broncos might be the only trade partner that makes sense. If they sense that the return could be smaller and I just don’t think the Packers should accept anything less than a bonanza of picks and players in a trade. I’d rather see him retire than give some other team a bargain deal.
  5. It’s stupid that he just won’t say what his issue is, we know what it is he just has some inexplicable issue speaking it plainly. Yesterday Julio Jones says, “I’m outta here.” Aaron Rodgers? Political double talk. I’m over it. Whatever happens I’m fine with it. Retire, trade, come back I’m just ready for the next step. It does bother me that he believes his MVP season is some big factor in his favor. To me all it proves is he’s had it in him but wasn’t tapping into it before Jordan Love arrived. 2 seasons prior he throws 25 and 26 touchdowns. Where was the MVP 48 touchdown seasons those years?
  6. Office, factory, warehouse....the whole company is pitching in tonight. Wow I did not notice that autocorrect, lol. I'll just call it an intended set-up for your reply. Yeah, that's it.
  7. Bucks lead 46-20 after 1 quarter. Three point shooting clicking tonight.
  8. If there isn't any truth to his issues it he would have reported rather than relaxing and doing karaoke in Hawaii. https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3365639/aaron-rodgers-skipped-packers-otas-to-dance-and-do-karaoke-in-hawaii-with-shailene-woodley-and-miles-teller-and-in-no-way-was-it-awkward I do agree, it'd be nice if he had the stones to just say what was bothering him and make it official. He wasn't gonna report no matter what but I don't think that has to do with the rift with GB's front office. Did he skip last season? Maybe there weren't any due to the pandemic but regardless he knows full well that people are going to read this move as evidence that there's a rift with the front office and he stays away anyway.
  9. Bucks office to a fast start, looking good. Extremely early though and this is the NBA.

  11. I love when people defend the shift like it leads to amazing baseball. I wonder if coaches in little league are teaching it to kids or if they just let them play for the fun of the game.
  12. I was just looking at the schedule, June is looking like a month of opportunity lots of struggling teams on the schedule. DET, ARI, CIN, PIT, CIN, COL, ARI, COL then the Cubs. Only 10 road games. Hopefully they don't choke like they did a few seasons ago during a similar stretch of games.
  13. For people who aren’t Badger fans, LePay is annoying most of the time. He has an up and down speaking pattern that irritates me. One of the things I noticed years ago during Badgers football radio broadcasts is on field goal or PAT plays he would always throw in "pressure moderate", so something like, "Here's the snap, pressure moderate, the kick is up and it is good!" As if it matters one iota what the presure of the defense's rush is unless they actually create a close play or disruption of the kick. I could never unhear it once I noticed it. I happily pointed it out to my brother and friends so that they could be infected with the same annoyance I felt. I'm not sure if he still calls it that way I haven't listened to a radio broadcast in quite a while.
  14. Even if we entertain the idea Yelich benefited from organizational sign stealing resulting in MVP type seasons why wouldn't he at least play to his offensive numbers from his time as a Marlin if the Brewers stopped using those methods? It's not like he was garbage before coming to Milwaukee. I just don't buy this hearsay as evidence.
  15. Rich Eisen with his take/rant: (sounds like a good plan to me) Language warning: He does use a word that (starts with a b) may not be appreciated by some.
  16. Giannis has been just about useless (on offense) unless dunking today, even layups were questionable. They were terrible from 3, Giannis was far from his best but the Heat on their own merit never really worried me today. The Bucks miscues kept the Heat in the game, that should have been over in regulation. You'd think if they play a little better they should be able to control the series. Maybe the Heat feel like they had a down game also, hard to tell.
  17. I'm not even slightly offended listening to Karros' harping on how bad the Brewers offense is. That's sad in and of itself.
  18. Why are you getting mad that you displayed his stats to prove that I was wrong that he isn't a good hitting pitcher and I simply pointed out that the average pitcher is worse? He's been hitting well this year. I'm not saying in a vacuum to expect the pitcher to come through, but cumulatively I expect us to be able to cash in on some scoring opportunities and be able to score runs off terrible pitchers like Jeff Hoffman. And yet here we are again, continuing to piss away chances and down by 3. I thought his 4 career hits talked more loudly than his irrelevant OPS but wherever you want to find positivity I'm not against it.
  19. The other teams we play don't have the dead ball problems as badly as the Brewers do. Sigh.
  20. Isn't that common knowledge? I thought they announced they were doing that before the season. I could be wrong. Edit: Sorry I read your comment wrong, I get it now.
