  1. That is my biggest critique of CC...that he refuses to use good relievers in close games where we are behind.
  2. What happened? MLB gameday just said "flies out to left fielder"
  3. CC has mailed it in and thinks they can't come back so he is giving him extra time off probably...even though he hit two home runs yesterday.
  4. Saving another surge for September. So is Schoop.
  5. same here, and pitchers going from 0-2 counts to walking people. lol. bad day at the office Here are a few plays: 1. Ground ball directly to where the SS would be but instead Schoop was shifted to hole between 3rd and SS. Shaw was playing SS but just off of 2nd. Neither Schoop or Shaw really jumped to go get ground ball and watched it dribble through. 2. Fly ball to shallow CF that Shaw couldn't get and neither could Cain who was playing deep 3. Another fly ball to shallow CF that Shaw should have caught but lost it in sun Well I am glad I don't have to watch this live then
  6. I am not watching the game, just following it on mlb gameday, but a lot of people are mentioning a lot of bad luck for us but also that Shaw has no range...anyone care to sum up what is going on? All I can see is ground ball singles, fly ball singles, and wild pitches...
  7. he clearly doesn't have it...get him out of there
  8. Why can't we be less that 3-2? Baseball is weird (sports in general really.) They could go 2-3 or even 1-4, but go 6-0 vs the Cubs in the final two series. Maybe have an 11 game winning streak at some point. Yea, if they lose two to the Cubs it makes it tougher, as pointed out in another thread that's just math. I just recoil a bit when I hear about must win games when there's still a month and a half of games to play. THANK YOU. I can stand when I hear on sports radio about a "must-win" series in August.
  9. 2 of 3? Schoop has been horrible, Moose is not better than Shaw (the man he replaced at 3B), and Soria gave the Brewers 5 IP before landing on the DL. This trade deadline is looking like a disaster. I get where you are coming from and it looks like the fat lady is on stage and doing some vocal exercises, but she hasn't begun to sing... Moose doesn't have to be better than Shaw, he has to be better than 2B since we still have Shaw's bat in the lineup Moose is really a replacement for our 2B production. So far not horrible. Soria has been fine so far outside of a bad outing and that may have been related to his quad strain. So far pretty good. Schoop has been an utter nightmare since we got him. He makes Arcia look like a great hitter... If he doesn't get it going soon, I hope the fat lady sits on him when she starts to sing... He is just waiting to get scorching hot in September when we need him most.
  10. It's not so much the loss, its the way they are losing these games. Our pitching has been absolutely horrendous in the second half. Bullpen ERA of over 10 in August...I keep thinking they will put the offense and pitching together at the same time but its just not happening. Really frustrating to watch.
  11. Watching the Brewers has been so fun the last couple weeks. Really enjoying myself.
  12. We will probably lose 2-1 and 1-0 to the Cubs then, right?
  13. 2 errors by the same player on one play? Seems about right for this team.
  14. I should honestly just turn this off now. I will be less angry if I don't actually SEE them lose.
  15. WHAT WAS PEREZ DOING!? He was jogging to second on that 3-2 pitch! Unreal...
  16. It's Sunday...we will find a way to lose in some ridiculous fashion. It is kind of already happening. We have 7 runs on 18 hits and have stranded like 13 runners.
  17. what do the brewers have, like 14 runners stranded? terrible
  18. Chase with an ERA over 7 in the first inning. Maybe we should start employing the Rays use of relievers in the first inning.
  19. 39 pitches and 2 runs given up in the first inning. That seems to be the Brewers MO recently.
