  1. First inning troubles again. His fastballs to Freeman and Markakis were right down the heart of the plate.
  2. I would say yes, for sure! I'm sure it effects some players differently, but in the grand scheme of things, I think players need to be in there playing, not bouncing back and forth with days on the bench, hitting all over the order, and playing different positions. Hitting in a different spot in the lineup and playing different positions is just an excuse fans make up. It has no bearing on professional hitters.
  3. Anderson going with the pants up today. Through the first batter, its not helping.
  4. People place too much emphasis on where a batter hits in the order. Teams are going to pitch a batter the same way regardless of if they are hitting 1st, 4th, or 8th. The scouting reports don't change. Perez has an OPS of .835 vs lefties and .949 in the second half. That is all-star quality right there!
  5. Definitely...similar power but Moustakas also provides defense and he is a better all around hitter.
  6. Tough spot in the lineup to get through here...cmon Hader.
  7. That's just bad luck. Can't hit the ball much harder than that.
  8. I agree. It's a much better logo and its not even close. Who chooses? For us in college it was always the starting pitcher.
  9. Brewers pitchers have walked 44 guys in the past 9 games. No wonder they are losing.
  10. I am sure this has been discussed somewhere in here but I don't want to look through 21 pages of comments, but can we make a qualifying offer to Moustakas that would net us a draft pick next year? Or since he has a mutual option are you not able to make a QO. Not sure how this stuff works...
  11. This is a ridiculous statement. Brewers had the #1 farm system with 8 top 100 prospects in 2016 according to MLB.com. What was our record in 2016 vs the Braves now? First of all, if you are trying to compare seasons, which is a waste of time, the 2018 Braves would compare to the 2017 Brewers. You are just overreacting to a couple bad losses.
  12. This is a ridiculous statement. How have the Brewers not succeeded in a rebuild? They are 66-43 and in serious playoff contention. They had the #1 farm system with 8 top 100 prospects in 2016 according to MLB.com and they traded for Christian Yelich and 4 years of control. You are just complaining to complain.
  13. Alright, well...I think I have seen enough. I'll try getting through a whole game tomorrow.
