  1. Call me greedy all you want, I'd take the money without a 2nd thought. And that's knowing I would probably only see 50-60% of it by the time the government got their hands on it. Lol, same. I read the fine print the other day. It's about $187k pre-tax if you take the 30 year annuity and $3.2m if you take the lump sum. Lump sum all the way. Take the money and run.
  2. When Moose is bad, he gets into stretches where he pops up a ton of balls. We’re in the middle of one of those, it seems.
  3. Huh, not sure what Grisham was looking for. He got too low-90’s fastballs middle in, and offered at neither. Well, at least the seal is broken.
  4. Brewers have a lot of guys that don't finish balanced. Don’t sweat the technique. Scoreboard!
  5. I know what it’s like to see bullpen meltdown in a close game, but it’s weird seeing it happen to a team that isn’t wearing blue.
  6. His OSwing% (% swung at pitch outside the zone) the last three years: 2017 38% 2018 36.3% 2019 38.9% He's been above 36% since 2014. Duh I should have checked there... so pre 2014...O-swing 31.7 Since 2014... O-swing 37.3 Career 34.2 Hasn't been since 2017... its been since 2014. That helps me feel less crazy. Even that double bears this out.
  7. Oh, the lifespan of major-league relievers these days. They’re like fruit flies and NFL running backs.
  8. Alright, since I was curious, I looked up the real clutch stats for Braun. For his career, in 2 outs RISP situations he has a .912 OPS. This year? .970! He is clutch. It’s science.
  9. Do you think the percussion section sits in the same spot every game, or is it a crapshoot? Can you imagine getting tickets to the game, showing up at the park ready to settle in for some fun, only to realize you’re about to have cowbell drilled into your brain for four hours?
  10. He's 1 for 2 so far.... [sarcasm]He’s 0-infinity in the clutch department, though.[/sarcasm]
  11. [sarcasm]For how much longer are the Brewers going to waste Arcia’s prime? He’s becoming elite right before our eyes![/sarcasm]
