  1. You have a point, but Amari Rodgers had yet another almost lost fumble. He’s still going to torpedo a game at some point, it’s coming.
  2. The fact that I even have to entertain the thought that next week’s home date against the Jets is a potential “must-win” scenario is nauseating to me. I mean, it isn’t, but the fact I have to give it more than a few seconds of thought is just gross. But if the Packers want any shot at home field, losing next week is tough to swallow.
  3. Yeah, we can bury any talk of resurrecting the 2010 defense now. That’s dead. This season is going to be on the offense figuring it out enough to make up for defensive liabilities, yet again. I still think they can, but they don’t have forever to get it sorted. Figuring out the O-line is going to be the key.
  4. Completely deserved result. Garbage half of football
  5. Underrated part of the problem is the offense abandoning the run for huge stretches today. No real reason to be throwing twice as much as running in this one, especially after we led for most of this one.
  6. Well, this drive should be instructive.
  7. I’m sure the narrative after this one will be the difficulty of playing in London and blah blah blah. We’re getting straight up beat by Daniel Jones and a B- day by the Giants running game. Once again, the defense cannot dictate any terms to anyone, and the offense has, at best, only two quarters in them. Not great.
  8. An emasculating drive for our defense? The more things change…
  9. The offense scoring no points in Q3 is looming large here.
  10. So I guess offensive holding is just not a thing today. Cool, cool.
  11. Right side of the line is still a huge liability. Have to get that fixed, and I’d be shocked if the answer isn’t Jenkins at G and Nijman or Tom at RT. But I get why they don’t want Bakh playing big snaps on turf.
  12. As long as we score a TD or two, I can live with seven-minute FG drives by New York, but this defense is exhibiting worrying trends.
  13. Another sack wiped out by penalty? It was weak sauce, but still, secondary not holding up their end today.
  14. I have no idea what that third down call was all about. They went with extra blockers on 3rd and ten? And when the predictably feeble gain kept the clock running, had to rush the FG team out there with no TO. But big ups to the special teams with flawless execution there.
  15. To be fair, MLF is not used to having any timeouts left at this point in the game.
  16. Wait, we have under two minutes left, and all our timeouts? How is that even possible?
  17. The Giants are making a good-faith effort at throwing the Packers out of their stacked box sets. And so far, it has not been the secondary’s finest hour.
  18. Fire the last two months of sports into the sun. Yuck
  19. Atta boy, Doubs. That’ll earn a little trust.
  20. That’s a take. Of course, Belichick coaches defense, and it was all the top-10 defenses that won Brady most of his Super Bowls. And it is New England’s D keeping them in this thing. Their offense is playing not to lose.
  21. I don’t know about that. It’s still Belichick on the other sideline.
  22. And all because Clark lost his mind. Never seen him like that before.
