  1. C’mon man. Another delay of game not called?
  2. This sport is just pain all the way down. Why do I do this to myself?
  3. This is the IGT, so I doubt we need any more reminders not to be fooled. But yes indeed, let’s get this win.
  4. I know, I know, if it's the postseason, anything can happen, and I'm not saying making the wild card wouldn't be worth it. A shot is better than no shot. But this bullpen couldn't hold two runs against the Marlins, and they've been leaking for months. They're not going to face AAA lineups in the postseason. This next week kind of feels like trying to win a steel cage death match, only to find out you were all on death row anyway. I want to believe, but the end result seems so obviously painful.
  5. I hope three things: Tua fully and quickly recovers. Tua retires immediately. Tua goes scorched earth on his franchise and the league office. It is long past time, and something needs to change.
  6. That is just brutal. Time to shut it down for the night.
  7. You asked for a miracle, and I give you the Philadelphia Phillies. Half their remaining games against the feisty Cubs and juggernaut Astros, and all of their remaining games on the road. This one should (SHOULD) go down to the wire. But when has anything about this year gone the way it should for the Crew? Here's hoping.
  8. There's only one thing left to do. (language warning)
  9. Bottom line, when the schedule came out, this is one just about everyone chalked up as an L. Now it’s in the win bank, and a head to head tiebreaker. Those are both unequivocally good things. If this offense looks like this in two months, I’ll share everyone’s concerns. I’m not panicking yet—I’m just happy to steal one.
  10. Brady needs an extra second on the play clock? Yeah, sure, Tom. Whatever you need.
  11. The defense has had a great plan all day, so let’s change that on the list important drive of the game. We’re only up one score, why go prevent? Maddening.
  12. Horrendous call by Leftwich. Thanks, man.
  13. Man this offense looks really limited. I know, it’s Tampa’s defense, but that 3rd down play had no chance. We have to have something better than that.
  14. Silver lining so far for me is Nixon getting some really valuable snaps and passing the eye test so far.
  15. The saddest thing about this scenario being necessary? Among NL teams, the Brewers have the third-best record against teams that are currently above .500. Better than any of the wild card contenders, and better than even St. Louis. But the Cards, Braves, Phillies, and Padres have beat the ever living snot out of the bad teams, while the Brewers have just played with their food. And that's how you miss the playoffs. Of course, the Crew can partially make up for that with a very strong finish over the last week and a half. But it should never have been necessary in the first place.

  17. Except when you are Albert Pujols, I guess. Then it’s ok.
  18. Did he throw at his own kid in a father-son game?
  19. Fair enough, my friend. I’m wishing you better days.
  20. Yeah, ok. But do you even remember the 90’s? How I grew up through that and didn’t give up on the franchise entirely is a minor miracle to me. That’s why I won’t go that far.
  21. Not sure I’d go so far as to say they suck. They have sucked to watch, especially for the last three months or so, but they’re definitely not a bad team. They are just also not a great one, and that’s the agony of the 2022 Brewers. A lot of buttons got pushed and it didn’t quite add up.
